Vet's Best Dog Pain Relief Supplement, Dog Aspirin Alternative, 150 ct

I am currently only giving my elderly dog vitamins and olive oil. I noticed she began having pains which caused concern because of her age. I’ve purchased items in the past of this brand so I began doing some research. Didn’t want to spend a whole lot of money if I could avoid it,but definitely had to get her in a better state. Amazon is my “go to” for basically everything,so here I am. As far as the signs I noticed with her,she started whining and limping. I noticed she couldn’t get comfortable on her bed and as she was trying to she fell over. She’s never been a whiner and I’ve had her since a baby,she’s almost 20 now. She’s completely blind,slight hearing problem and toothless. Age has taken a toll on her,but outside of that she still gets a clean bill of health from the Vet. I wouldn’t dare put her down unless she was in pain and have given up on eating . She has a great appetite,she know what she does and doesn’t want from sniffing her food and treats. She’ll still roll over and play when she hear me pull her toys out. She’s still very alert. She has learned how to get around the house without any issues,the other pets in the house respect her space. I have her 8 year old son too and she’s never been too social with any of the other pets in the house. Even when she could see. She’s just always been up under me ❤️. So now about these pills!!!! PEOPLE they are AMAZING!!! Yes,they work!!!! I am so happy!! Today is day 3 and honestly yesterday I noticed her limp was gone. She’s back to her usual self and I’m so so happy that she is! I am very hands on with her because of her age and other things. She doesn’t even have a slight limp. They are huge as well as hard and she’s a cocker-pug mix with no teeth so I had to smash it and sprinkle it in her food. I have a cold right now so I don’t know if they have a strong odor ,but she did not eat her food after I put the pill in it. I had to add just a small bit of a topper on top of the already crushed pill to cover the smell if there is one. I’m assuming so because initially she sniffed and didn’t touch it. She only has her smell to go off of. That worked and she cleaned her bowl per usual which means the pill was successfully digested as well! The results definitely showed! The pills came same day delivery and very good price for the bottle. They were sealed and appeared to be fresh. Just keep in mind that they are hard and rather big. I can’t see any dog just wanting to chew it by itself,but I’m not certain. Find a way because they are great pills!! Fyi….she is under 50 lbs and so I gave her one pill a day. I’ll continue for about two more days then stop until there comes a point where she’ll need them again. Also,it did not change her poop at all. I am a very happy customer,apologies for the long review.

This is a great product. It really works. My dog has stenosis and sometimes he can’t use his back legs. Once I started giving him this medicine, the inflammation and pain subsided and he’s able to go on walks and essentially be pain-free. I have been using this product with my dog for over a year and he hasn’t had any relapses.

These help my old girl tremendously. She’s a 13 year old, 85 lb Great Pyrenees mix that has started to slow down and was having trouble getting up the stairs even though she’s been on increasing doses of joint support supplements since she was 7. I started her on this and I can tell a huge difference in her mobility. I also sometimes give this to my 7year old Australian Shepherd on days when she over does it playing and she doesn’t show that she’s sore afterwards when I give her this. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the taste. It is VERY BITTER (I bit one in half and found out the hard way when I couldn’t find an appropriate knife when I was in a hurry one morning lol). They will take it fine in cheese or dog-safe peanut butter though but refuse to eat their food if it’s broken up in small pieces and these dogs are NOT picky. Just keep that in mind when giving to your own pup!

Fast acting. Easy to be consumed by dog. Helped my dog with his pain.

My dog has some minor joint and back discomfort, so I wanted to find something that might help him move more comfortably. After giving him Vet’s Best Hip & Joint Supplement for just a few days, I could already see a noticeable difference. He seemed less stiff and more comfortable getting around. He seems to like the taste and takes these without a problem, which makes it easy to keep them in his daily routine. I’m very pleased with how well they have worked for him and will definitely continue using them.

CAUTION Don’t use if your dog has liver issues. I’ve used this with my dog for a year or so. It works! However, now our dog has liver issues. Our vet has told us this is dangerous for dogs with liver problems. Not saying this causes it. Our dog is 14, so age does these things. But be aware.

Update as of February 2023: STILL WORKS GREAT. Dog is having her annual slipped disc issue, brought out this product. I give her one whole thing (which is twice the recommended dose!), she's alert and sort of active within about an hour. It's still not a miracle cure, but this supplement works SO WELL. I'll honestly cry if you guys ever stop making them. Original review follows. My dog is prone to slipping discs, leading to pain and partial paralysis. This last time it happened the week before Christmas - so Christmas combined with the not fantastic financial situation 2020 left us in meant we didn't have anything left over for an expensive vet bill and treatment (I highly recommend electro-acupuncture if anyone in your area can do it, by the way). So I took a chance on this product, with its good reviews and low price. And, it worked! It was a huge struggle for the first two weeks, getting her to actually eat the tablets. She's very suspicious when she's in pain, and even my usual strategy of just shoving the pills and tablets into a glob of peanut butter stopped working. My brute force method of just putting it in her mouth and trying to force her to swallow was annoying and time consuming. Eventually I figured out to just hand her the tablet like it's a treat, and she just takes it and doesn't spit it out that way. She wasn't better immediately, but she got better a lot faster than she did when she was on 3 very expensive medications prescribed by the vet the first time she went limp. I started her on one half at breakfast and one half at night (small dog, so the smallest dosage), and then upped to a whole tablet at breakfast and a whole one at night (instructions do say you can double the dosage in extreme cases). She got better quickly, I went back to the half and half, and now I'm just doing one half of a tablet a day for maintenance! So, it works! Only complaint is her pee smells like whatever's in these tablets, but it's not like dog pee usually smells great anyway.

Che dire?la mia cagnetta di 14 anni lo prende da mesi ormai..prima mi dicevano che sembrava arrivata al capolinea,ora che sembra rinata!!ed è così..aveva difficoltà a camminare,zoppicava e a volte cadeva..è di piccola taglia e le do mezza pasticchetta,ma il risultato è sorprendente,ora fa addirittura piccole corsette e prova a saltellare..grazie a questo prodotto sò che non posso frenare il tempo,ma sò che può vivere al meglio la sua "vecchiaia"..Grazie!

Early days yet. My 14 year old Cavvy Charlie-Brown still just shuffling along. But he appears to be more active. Maybe wishful thinking. But I can see some benefit.
