If you have worn, tired leather, I highly recommend this Fortivo Leather Balm! it did an amazing job reviving our scratched, faded leather sectional and made it look refreshed again. The application process was incredibly easy. The kit includes sponges, so all you have to do is apply the balm, work it into the leather, and let it dry. Once fully dry, it doesn’t transfer onto clothing, which was a huge plus. The hardest part of the entire process was keeping our dogs off the sectional while it dried! Overall, this product exceeded my expectations and delivered excellent results for a very reasonable price.

I can't believe how well this dye covers - and even changes colors – or how nice the finish looks with just a little effort. I have an old leather sofa that's about 8 feet long. It used to be dark green and it faded to teal. Didn't love the green. Hated it as faded teal, so it was worth a try. And it really exceeded all expectations. If you're on the fence, go for it. it is pretty easy to get a great result. It is an excellent value. Less than 2 jars will complete an 8-foot sofa. BIG PLUSES: Covers easily in 2 coats if going darker. Very easily covers bares spots or scratches. Hardly any odor. Subtle sheen similar to new leather. Dries quickly...and I live in a humid rainforest! Does not rub off after dry. Quality product. Easy clean with soap and water. MODEST weaknesses: Protective gloves are flimsy but do the job. One broke Foam applicators are just okay. They start out fine but collect some thickening dye as you go. Constant pressure can keep the dye from thickening inside foam which can result in an uneven finish. Keep semi-attached cushions separated until fully dry. Gaffers tape can hold cushions in different directions. The mink oil takes longer to penetrate the new finish than instructions indicate. And the mink oil can leave things too shiny and messy without a VERY good cleaning. TIPS: If you're dying darker, you can successfully (completely) change colors in 2 coats. If you have a larger project like a sofa, get yourself some cloth applicators and nitrile gloves to make the day easier. If you use the foam applicators, switch them out as soon as the inside dye thickens – or your finish will be uneven. Let the mink oil sit longer than indicated to get through the new finish and into the leather. Then wipe with microfiber. Very mild soap and water on microfiber can remove the greasiness and excessive sheen of the mink oil. This is an exceptional product that delivers. Get it. See the before, during and after photos - then save that leather you used to love!

I posted before & after pictures to show the worn areas on my chairs although I am not completely finished. I only applied 1 coat on the problem areas and may decide to do the whole chair. Or I may only apply a 2nd coat to the problem areas and blend it in. I also need to apply the recommended conditioner. The arms were especially bad. The chairs are a grey/brown color so I mixed the dark brown & light grey together. I really would rather have used the dark grey but unfortunately it’s out of stock. It was worth a try and the chairs look sooo much better and am glad I tried it! The color is more brown than I wanted but it works fine and it’s much better & cheaper than having to buy new chairs. I mixed the colors with a popsicle stick to the approximate color I wanted and applied it on one chair. I am pretty happy with it so far, it looks like a new chair even though it’s not the exact color I wanted. Side note: I let the chair dry for several days & just tested it to see if the color rubs off. It did come off the arm only, with a dry cloth when I rubbed it firmly, but it DIDN’T come off the rest of the cushion, etc. My guess is that the arm was more worn so I will just reapply another coat & I think that will do the trick. Also, I am hoping the conditioner will seal it in. I’ll update my review after I apply conditioner. The actual process is easy. There is no bad scent and it goes on nicely. I used the brush they supplied on the seams & welting & a cotton cloth on the rest only bc I forgot there was a sponge pad suppled. I will use the sponge to finish the rest of the chairs. Overall I really like the way the product works and the way it looks after initial application. I am hopeful the conditioner will seal in the color on the arms and I’m NOT concerned about any transfer problems from the cushions. I highly recommend this product & will use it again. My negative is that they are out of stock on the “dark gray” color. However, I just remembered they have black. Maybe I could use that to get the dark grey color by mixing it with the light grey, but that means I would have to buy 3 jars of the product instead of 2 to get the color a want to achieve. I may just go ahead and order the black. I may still be interested in the dark grey-let me know if it becomes available.

Frotivo leather recoloring balm and Fortivo mink oil leather conditioner are amazing. I recolored my sofa and loveseat. They look brand new. One jar almost covered both sofas. The color did not rub off even when I applied the mink oil. I would totally recommend this product!!

Works quite well. Cleaned a nasty sweat stain as much as I could and the dye in this product penetrated and concealed the damage. It also had been very much bleached by the sun and almost looked pink, not anymore. This was a very big Bradington Young recliner and it took the entire jar to really do it well. If you are going to do a large sofa with lots of sun and other damage, it would take three jars and be well worth it.

I don’t post reviews but this product blew my mind. My old beat up couch actually looks gorgeous despite years of abuse and neglect. It had dog scratches all over the leather and was dry and faded all over. I asked AI what product to use to refurbish and it directed me here. The before and after pictures speak for themselves (although in person was even more stunning). Easy to use, but it dyes your hands and nails so wear gloves. Unbelievable results and easy to apply.

FORTIVO Leather Recoloring Balm is an incredible product! We have a 13 year old brown leather sectional couch. Between grandkids, three dogs and daily wear, it needed help- it was scratched and the original leather dye faded in multiple spots. I found FORTIVO and I ordered one jar. After a good cleaning, I applied the product before we turned in for the night. The next morning I checked it out first thing and I was AMAZED how great it looked! There were a few areas that need another coat so I recoated the entire couch before going to bed that night. The next morning I was thrilled to see it worked- the couch was evenly colored, no product odor, nothing to touch up- it looks brand new. My neighbor saw it and thought it was a new couch! I can’t recommend FORTIVO enough! Buy it- you’ll be so glad you did!

This product is like runny petroleum jelly without a hint of colour and does nothing to enhance the colour of my black sofa. I opened both pots just to make sure and apart from one having its label upside down, they were identical. Very disappointing.
