are these actual husk and not powder - the box says husk but the description says powder?

It’s ground up husk but still a course powder. Definitely thicker than the powder you would find in Metamucil for example. It doesn’t dissolve in drinks.

Does this work well for baking (Keto etc.)?

Yes, it would work well for Keto etc..

Is there lead in this product

Low levels of lead can find their way into Himalaya’s supplement products, as well as other dietary supplement products and many everyday foods, because lead is a naturally-occurring mineral, not an added chemical. Lead is commonly found in virtually all soil where plants are grown in the U.S. and around the world, and does not just exist in supplements, but also in fruits and vegetables, even if they're organically grown. Himalaya’s dietary supplement products comply with the internationally recognized lead standard set by the National Sanitation Foundation/American National Standards Institute. In addition, Himalaya’s dietary supplement products comply with the lead standard set by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), which sets standards for dietary supplements.

Does this dissolve to wear my son would not feel it when drinking it?

Absolutely not. I think it would not go down well for a child. I have to drink it all at once without stopping or I get the heaves.😬
