Saxton TCT18580T20B TCT Circular Saw Blade 185mm x 80T x 20mm Bore (16mm ring) fits Evolution Bosch Makita etc

I recently purchased the TCT18580T20B TCT Circular Saw Blade for my circular saw, and here’s my review based on my experience using this product across various cutting tasks.Pros:Excellent Cutting Performance: The TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) blade delivers impressive cutting power. I used it primarily for cutting through wood, MDF, and even some plastic materials, and it produced clean, precise cuts without any tearing or splintering.Sharpness and Durability: Right out of the box, the blade was extremely sharp, allowing for smooth and efficient cuts. After several projects, the blade maintained its sharpness well, indicating that it can handle repeated use without quickly dulling.Versatile Compatibility: The 20mm bore size, along with the included 16mm ring, makes this blade compatible with a wide range of saws, including models from Evolution, Bosch, and Makita. This versatility is a significant plus for anyone with multiple tools.80 Teeth for Fine Cuts: The high tooth count (80T) is ideal for achieving fine cuts, especially when working with materials like laminate and veneer where a smooth finish is essential. It provided the precision I needed for detailed projects.Easy Installation: Installing the blade on my saw was straightforward, thanks to the well-designed bore. The blade fit securely, which is always a relief when changing out saw blades.Value for Money: Given its performance and durability, this blade offers excellent value for money. It competes well with higher-end options while still being reasonably priced for DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike.Cons:Not Ideal for Heavy-Duty Cutting: While the blade performs excellently for fine cuts and general woodworking, it may struggle with heavier materials or more demanding tasks like thick hardwoods. Users should be mindful of the material they are cutting to avoid premature wear.Limited Cutting Depth: At 185mm, the cutting depth is standard but might be limiting for those who frequently work with thicker materials. It's essential to check if this blade meets your specific cutting needs.Heat Build-Up: During prolonged use, I noticed that the blade could heat up, which is not uncommon for saw blades. It’s important to allow the blade to cool down to prevent any potential warping or damage over time.No Detailed Instructions Included: The packaging doesn’t provide detailed instructions for installation or maintenance. While it's easy to figure out, clearer guidelines would be beneficial, especially for novice users.Weight: The blade is slightly heavier than some comparable options, which might be a concern for those using lighter saws. However, this weight does contribute to its durability and cutting stability.Overall Verdict:The TCT18580T20B TCT Circular Saw Blade is a reliable and high-performing choice for anyone looking to achieve precision cuts in various materials. With its excellent cutting performance, sharpness, and compatibility with multiple saw brands, it stands out as a strong option for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. While there are minor limitations regarding heavy-duty cutting and heat build-up, the overall quality and value make this blade a worthwhile investment. If you need a circular saw blade that delivers on performance and versatility, I highly recommend the TCT18580T20B.

Fits my Evolution circular saw perfectly. Bought it for neat cutting of plywood. Still some splintering but I’d say that was down to the cheap ply rather than the blade. The cut is excellent and the face of the cut is super smooth. Will replace my other blades with these.Just a quick edit to show what this blade will do on a 4x2. This is also a rip cut. Smooth as glass.

Great product work's as expected

Bought to cut kitchen worktops. Did a great job, Super clean cut. I was able join two pieces together within chipping of the laminate. Very good price too.

Absolutely superb blades. If you are cutting compact laminate kitchen worktops buy one of these blades. As long as you are only cutting 2 mm at a time on the compact laminate you'll get a nice clean cut.

I have been using these for a number of years and pleased to recommend

Great for cutting plastic

Value for money, good blade. I have a number of Saxton blades. Perfect for my DIY needs.

👌Cuts hardwood like butter. 0 chipping glass finish.
