Not fresh enough
As I am finding with almst all products from Germany purchased through Amazon this year, this Lebkuchen is dried out by the time it reached me in December. The product was highly recommended by a trustworthy friend in Germany.These companies, which include top brands such as Niederegger, better improve their supply chin and especially the storage conditions here in the U.S.I cannot recommend Schmidt Elisen Lebkuchen/gingerbread.

Completely waste $ on this purchase
We purchased a tin of 6 pieces of Germany Lebkuchen Schmidt soft Gingerbread at $55.99. We expected an original packaged tin, but received an open tin with only 5 pieces in a loosely tied plastic bag. very disappointed and we have to throw them away.

Very disappointing product - tastes nothing like the lebkuchen we buy in Germany.
Terrible product. I unfortunately bought two tins - product tasted like cardboard. We have purchased similar in Germany - this product nothing like the Elisin Lebkuchen from Nuremberg. Don’t buy this product. This was $100 wasted as we had to throw contents of both tins out. Tins themselves very nice but would not pay $100 for just two tins!! Very disappointed!

I look forward every Christmas to buy. Love them. Great fresh flavor. Perfect size container. Memories of the past! I give as gifts and of course one for myself. A+A+A+A+A+A
