Great watch quality
I like this watch very much even though it is slightly different than the one on Amazon’s website. This is my 3rd Sturhling watch, and I love all of them. Plus, Sturhling’s customer service is very helpful!

Just ok but used when advertised as new!
I received my green diver and it was used and dirty. The box was broken and the watch was just thrown in there. The bezel looks kind of cheap, the band looks unfinished on the clasp when opened, and the whole thing looked cheap. I know you don’t look at that clasp inside when closed but I just expected higher quality. My buddy got the red and black one and it looked a bit nicer than the green. I own another Sturhling and I love it. The watch is also a bit heavier than expected. Worth the price if you don’t expect a whole lot. Very disappointed. I wanted to like it!!

Best diver-look watch value on the market. Is this an homage to an homage?? wink
Nov 2020 update: Been almost 2 years now and still flawless performance. I purchased two color variations. I left them along, no adjustments for time change or date. NO LIE: both have gained between 20 and 30 seconds over two years. That's *amazingly* accurate. Maybe they are channeling my Citizen radio watches? IDK. Impressive look and performance to this watch. While YMMV, this is an unexpected level accuracy.Review of the green and gold two tone, model 3950A.6. In summary, this is a great watch at very attractive price. I bought it for looks and NOT for water use. Definitely good for dry use.(additional note: I enjoyed the green and gold two tone so much I also bought the blue and gold two tone. Almost as pleased with it expect the blue is darker than I hoped for).BackgroundThere are a LOT of diver-look homage watches out there and Stuhrling has many models. Homage watch is a fancy term for a tribute where a company riffs the look of a much more expensive watch. Sometimes this is done tastefully (as is the case here) and sometimes with pure intent to deceive (ie counterfeit). The king of diver watches is the Rolex Submariner and its look has influenced a slew of tributes and counterfeits. Submariners are $5k and up. Way up.For many years, Stuhrling has used the Aquadiver moniker on a dizzying array of diver-look watches. The obvious differences include the face styles, time markers (batons or numbers), water resistance ratings, and hand styles. Case diameter can vary but the difference between 42mm and 44mm is barely perceptible. Movements include Japanese and Swiss sourced quartz and mechanical versions. Model numbers start with 395, 417, 676, 792, 893 etc. The 395 series has an MSRP of $500 and real world price of $100. Other Aquadiver models are up from there but typically $100 - $300 RWP.This watch is the 3950A series and labeled Pro Sport (not Aquadiver) yet is clearly targeting a similar look at a value price point. The 3950A series has an MSRP of $345 and real world price of $60 including delivery. Interestingly, there is a similar looking 3950 series on Shuhrling's website with an MSRP of $1,995! I believe the 3950A is the least expensive of all Stuhrling’s diver-look watches. The 3950A is a recent introduction in time for the 2018 holiday season and appears to have been marketed to and sold through discount companies like Amazon and Walmart. As the least expensive diver watch in the Stuhrling line in a way, it’s an homage to their homage!Note: I have not tested the water resistance of this watch in *any* way. Here are some points to consider.aesthetics comments* pro * looks good on the wrist. Very attractive green, gold, and stainless * baton time markers vs large numbers. I know where 3, 6, 9, and 12 are. * the substantial weight gives an impression of quality * hands are tipped with fine extensions making for precise time marking * the packaging is first rate and will impress as a gift * the band and clasp look good, are secure, and operate easily* con * the case is a bit thick and protrudes from my arm more than I’d like (easier to damage)* meh * the hands are their own style and don’t mimic the Submariner'sdesign comments* pro * the Miyota quartz movement is a good choice. * this copy gained about 1/2 second over 6 days. Outstanding.* con * I prefer a sapphire crystal for incredible scratch resistance. Not going to happen at this price point! :-)* meh * a water resistance rate of 100 m / 330 ft is rather minimal for a diver watch but unimportant for my intended dry only usemanufacturing comments* pro * the gold plating is quite similar in color and look to solid gold * screw-down crown operates smoothly * bezel rotation feels nice with a substantial click* con * really nothing noted so farSummary, this watch gets a strong buy recommendation. Not sure you can get a better diver-look watch for $60 or even in the low $100’sNovice note regarding band resizing: the band may need to be made smaller to fit the wrist and it’s super easy. Comes sized for a 7 1/2" wrist. Buy a tool online for $5, one in which you lay the watch so that it aligns with a threaded driver to push the pin out. Follow the directional arrows on the band underside. (NOTE: the pins are not the same on both ends. One end has a bulge that clips inside the link for retention). Remove unneeded links. Reverse direction and reinstall the pin small end first and tap flush with a soft-faced, small hammer or wood block.

Second Stuhrling!
Absurdly gorgeous for the price. Package contents were unorganized and the watch nob didn't settle in all the way (see picture) but I figured out how to manually set it in place by pushing in toward the watch face and turning it clockwise. Super happy with the end product.

Had to pay $15 for a professional jeweler to do the sizing of the watchband
I thought I had enough small tools to be able to remove extra links by myself. However, it really requires a professional jeweler with the right tools, and still took 20 minutes.Battery life is listed as estimated 2 years. Since it is a water-resistant watch, many places (like shopping mall kiosks) will not be able to replace the battery, because it requires special tools. The watch looks nice, and the date is readable.

Beautiful watch at a great price!
I bought this watch because of its appearance in the on-line photos and because of my satisfaction with a Stuhrling watch I had been given as a gift a few years back. Absolutely LOVE this watch - don't have to worry about it getting wet, keeps accurate time, and looks so stunning that it has been mistaken more than once for a "Rollie" at less than a tenth of the price! Watch was delivered quickly after I ordered it on-line, and a representative followed up to be sure I was happy with my purchase. Overall a fantastic product from a responsible, reputable seller!!!

Worth The Money
I have to say I was a little worried about the results on this one when I bought it. For whatever reason, Stührling doesn't seem to have a great rep online, but as any watch lover knows, most people worship the micro brands and anything else is seen as junk. Also, Fakespot doesn't speak super kindly of the rating on this watch in particular (Graded it a C last I chedked). All that stated plainly, I can say from my experience thusfar with this watch and Stührling as a company, I am very impressed. As a business owner myself, I'm impressed with Stührling's desire to provide great customer service. In a crowded segment (with Invicta and Parnis continually upping their game), I have to say this is something that has made their company stand out to me. They reached out within a few weeks of purchasing the watch to make sure all was well with it.I am thusfar very impressed with the product. It took a moment to figure out how to get the crown to screw in (it DOES screw in), but I was able to figure that out. It has a bit of an odd pop to it before it will start screwing in, but is easy to manage once you figure it out.The timepiece is gorgeous, the weight is good, a tick on the heavy side but I'd rather it be a little too heavy rather than too light, and the fitment is very good which is hard to find for me because I have oddly shaped small wrists. If anything, the fitment ends up a tick loose or tight, but very close and better than most budget watches for me. Of course, it keeps time just fine as well.I already ordered another, blue on gold. Looking forward to seeing that one. Well worth the money gents, don't hesitate based on reputation or reviews. I feel confident even in saying with the way their customer service was kind enough to reach out to me, even if you have an issue, they will be willing to listen and figure out a way to make any issue better.

Great watch at a great price
I chose the black version of this watch and it arrived within 3 days on standard delivery. It was well packaged and well presented in a very sturdy box. I would say it is an average size and weight for a man's watch, with a nice looking bracelet. I have another Stuhrling watch which has been good, so gave me confidence in the brand. On the whole it is a good looking watch at a very reasonable price - don't forget to tick the voucher box and get £5 off the cost.

Highly recommended, get one
Excellent at this price. Good quality and well built. Nothing special in the materials or movement. It's all standard stuff - but I have no doubt it will last well and won't fall apart. A good honest watch, what you see is what you get

A really expensive looking watch
I am delighted with this watch it has so much quality compared with others in its price bracket. It is so accurate, easy to read and although I own some 70 watches, this one I love

Seems sturdy, but isnt
This watch seemed amazing for the price, and looked good as well. Bought it for my husband for Xmas. However, come March when the clocks alter, the winder broke off. I did expect it to last more than 3 months!!
