Our soccer league has been using this same goal for weekly practices since last year, which gave me the confidence to purchase one for my 9-year-old and his teammates. It’s been excellent for practicing kicks, shooting drills, and warm-ups. After about a year of consistent use (with the league’s goals), I’ve noticed just a couple of minor things. The carrying bag’s zipper isn’t the highest quality, though I was able to fix mine easily upon arrival. Also, when removing the support poles, be careful that the small bushings don’t come loose. This has happened with a few team goals, so it’s simply something to keep in mind during takedown. That said, the goal itself is durable, stable, and holds up very well for a portable setup. It’s lightweight, easy to assemble, and convenient to set up just about anywhere. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it for youth players and casual practice sessions.

I received our soccer goal just a few days ago. I couldn't be happier with the quality of it. I have done a lot of research over the last several months and was excited to find a decent-sized, quality net for a reasonable price. I just couldn't justify spending the amount some other options were charging. What's more is the ease of set up and take down of the PowerNet goal. I was able to set up at home with little instruction referenced. I did miss one step in the set up, however, which made the base of the goal seem narrower than described. This was easily resolved by watching the set up video. Be sure to slide out the back base pole for maximum size. This was a 10 second fix. Since then, I took the goal to my daughter's 10U practice and was able to set up in just a few minutes. The size was just right for helping both the goalie and strikers to work on their skills. I received multiple compliments during practice, especially when they saw how it held up to everything the girls could shoot at it and how quickly I was able to set up and take it down with no assistance. This one is very portable and can stand up to the demands of a 10U soccer practice. I will update as we continue to use over the season, but have nothing but positives so far!

I have had this net for a little over a month. It is fantastic. There are a few things that could be better, but as far as practice nets go....this doesn't compare! It is far and away one of the best practice nets I have ever worked with...I have been playing soccer for more than 30 years and have been on many teams that have had those flat portable nets. This is compact, it is easy to setup, and move with just one person. Our kids this year were last to get a coach and last to get choice of fields for practice. We were promised goals, but they never came. Similar practice goals can be over $1000 but this by far made it easy to purchase. The warranty is also phenomenal. I know from years of experience that soccer nets can take a real beating and often could use a refresh even after one season. When I called the manufacture to get an extra net as a backup, they recommended that I wait until the net started to show wear then file a warranty claim. They sent clear instructions. This goal maybe $140 with the frame and net together, but a net by itself can be $90+. So take advantage! You will most likely get a free net if you use this for practices....home use too....if your kids play alot, you will be able to take advantage of the 1yr warranty with no problem. I think this is probably been my favorite purchase all year.

These goals are awesome I purchased the 12x6. Super easy to deploy and put away. In less than 5 mins you'll have the goal ready to play. Pros- Easy to setup, net is made of durable nylon (have the good quality feel), once setup is easy to move around the field if need be, they are easy to transport when they are in their carry bag and are not very heavy. Can be used as shelter with a tarp above it for when too sunny or too cold/windy for players sitting out. Very sturdy material. Cons- When first setting them up I had no experience with any kind of portable goals like these. Instructions weren't detailed as to explain that the metal tubes had to expand outward to give it the 12" length (I refer to the back bottom frame). It took me a while to figure out they could slide out to make it the full 12" length. When sliding metal in and out to give full length or put away the bottom fabric catches and starts to rip if you are not careful when putting away. Overall I loved these goals and they are perfect for my U7 and U11 soccer teams. I would buy again if one was to brake.

Very heavy, much lighter options are available with the same size. I ordered a pair, but one still has not arrived after five days from the promised delivery date. Also, after one month of play the back of the net got unshaped. Very low quality compared to bownet!

Pros: 1) Well built; solid net, uprights, well made quality metal, tie downs, carrying case, basically every component is good quality. 2) Simple deployment and breakdown, 3 mins max. for one person. 3) Price about half of what a bownet costs 4) Makes practice feel more like a game & kids take practice more seriously. Allows set pieces, corners, goal kicks, and goal mouth defending more realism compared to pop up goals. 5) Looks really sweet. Cons: 1) I should have bought two This goal is the real deal I have been coaching kids soccer for 4 years with pop up goals and the powernet is in a class all its own. The mobility of it makes taking it to the 4 sessions I run a week a no brainier. It easily fits in and out of the trunk of my Accord and set up is almost as simple as a pop up goal. The 12x6 size is big enough to make my keeper work and my strikers focus on placement. Super upgrade for any coach.

I volunteer coach, my son’s U10 soccer team and use two of these for practice goals. They are portable and fit in my small sized SUV. They only take five minutes to set up once you are used to how they go together. I’ve never had a problem with them during practice. Two things that could make them even better: 1) the stitching of the handle on the carrying bag has started to come loose (note: they do get thrown around a lot, so this is partly my fault for not treating them more gently, but still). 2) on the second goal I bought: one year after buying the first one) there is a piece which holds the upright in place that does not fit tightly and falls out every time the goal is disassembled. This led to one of them being lost on a soccer field. He can be fixed easily by putting a little athletic tape around the insert, but I feel this should fit more precisely.

The portable soccer net is a great product. This product is different from the fixed frame nets I have used in the past and I was a bit concerned with the stability of the goal. This net is very stable even when the ball is kicked very hard. We use it with my teenage son in our front yard without putting the stakes in the ground. The goal does not fly away and stays on the ground. The four flexible “posts” holding the net are strong and can take some hits as well. This net is easy to assemble and disassemble. It just takes a few minutes and few very simple steps. Read the notice before assembling the goal the first time. There are two exact bends just above the middle hinge bracket. It seems at first that the frame is bent but this is by design. I returned the first net as no instruction or labels were included in the first package. The bag is a bit small to put the folded net in it easily. A few inches longer will help slot it in without stretching the bag. As a youth soccer coach, the goal is a great tool to conduct the kicking drills and goalie practices. My adult league soccer team bought two of these goals for practices and recreational games and all feedback is very positive. Overall, I recommend this product for recreational soccer or more competitive use.
