Definitely made out of canvas. Has that feel and smell to it! Colors are sharp and the map is accurate as to what is shown in the movies and books.

Not what I expected
You can barely read the names or words written on the map, the print quality is low definition and the material feels cheap. I regret buying this item

Came super protected in PVC pipe. The map itself is on nice quality canvas but the print is faded and not nearly as vibrant as the pics Advertised. I'm disappointed.
