Do I need to replace the old o-ring/gasket in the cannister with the new black o-ring/gasket?

Hello! It is not necessary and you can use your original rubber ring with the replacement CO2 filters. Hope it helps.

Will these valves fit the Coffeegator stainless container?

If you look closely, the Star Coffee Container and the Gator are identical. Same as the Java Shield and others. I would imagine that it's the same canister and each company puts their name / logo on it. I am going to say these will work with your gator.

Hi....Will these fit the16oz Friis cannister?

The rubber gasket I got did NOT the Friis canister; however, the plastic valve fit the old rubber gasket (which I think really needs replacing but cannot seem to find the Friis gasket on Amazon)
