Excellent Radiator!
This radiator is a great value for money. My old oil run radiator kept making clicking noises and was quite loud when it was on, made sleeping more of a chore, trying to drift off in between the clicks. But this one runs silent, is a perfect size for a small to mid sized bedroom. Unlike my old radiator this one has a brain, in the sense that it will heat up a room fairly quickly, then once it has reached its optimal output of heat it will turn itself off while maintaining the heat in the room, which is perfect for when I turn it on before bed and fall asleep with it still on, at some point during the night it will have turned itself off to save on electricity and for safety reasons, very clever little radiator. It has three heat settings, from mild to warm to furnace, with a dial that lets you choose how much heat you want and how quickly it heats up. You should note that the quicker it heats up, the quicker it will turns itself off. It will heat up the room nicely beforehand. It is quite hot to the touch so I wouldn't recommend placing your bare hands on it, nor any clothing items, it does say not to in the instructions. Moving it isn't a worry, as it is very light, has wheels and a neat handle on the front so you can position it without burning yourself.

Keeps room warm and toasty
I like this heater a lot. I've previously used fan heaters, and it's always made me nervous as they use a lot of electricity and can be dangerous, especially as they're so cheaply made nowadays and lack safety features than used to come as default. This felt like an investment by comparison, but it's one I'm glad I made. It hardly costs anything to run, and it's safe. I can walk away from it for a few hours at a time and not worry. The only negative I would say about it is it takes hours to warm up a whole room by itself, so it's not very effective if you need a quick blast, but the heat it does produce lasts a lot longer than a fan heater. I find it's best for prolonging heat, so I'll put the main heating on in the morning then this heater means it doesn't have to go on again and it'll keep me toasty at my desk all day.It also feels very sturdy in construction, and I don't feel like it's going to need to be replaced after a year of use. I feel it was well worth my money.

So far so good !
Looks good , affordable & warms up fast. This oil heater is easy to put together, and easy to control. We are using it in our home office that is about 10 Sq. metres/107 Sq. foot and it warms the room easily and fast. However this Russell Hobbs 1500W/1.5KW Oil Filled Radiator is rather flimsy, compared to my old oil heater that I had to replace and I wish they would have provided black bolts instead of cheap looking silver ones. Does not look that great against the black.Other then that we are happy with the purchase.Let's see how long this Russell Hobbs Radiator will last .

Great heater!
Just bought this for my daughter's bedroom which is always very cold ahead of winter (Victorian house). Even on the medium setting, the room warms up nicely and maintains temperature. Heater came well packaged, so far so good.

Don't know how I lived without it. Perfect for a small office.
I work from home in a fairly small office room that faces away from the sun, so is especially cold around this time of year. I have built-in convector heaters which cost a fortune to run, and ended up opting for localised heating in the room with a fan heater. As ever, the problem with that is that it's stinking hot while it's on, and then the moment the thermostat kicks in and turns it off, the room is freezing cold again. But then I found this oil-filled heater on Amazon Warehouse deals for about ยฃ20 - what a steal! This is exactly what I needed. The first thing I noticed is that on the max (3) power setting, it doesn't really heat up the room. I think it's because the thermal cutoff kicks in before it's properly warm, and/or stays off for too long so it cools down again. The technique I found works flawlessly is to run on max power from cold, and as soon as the top of the fins are too hot to touch I turn it down to the lowest power setting, with the thermostat just over 50%.At this point, I can just leave it alone all day and it keeps my chilly room comfortably and consistently warm, with low power usage compared to other heaters. Even better, because of the oil's heat retention, it turns on much more periodically than the alternatives, while still kicking out that lovely warmth regardless.I also love that it's on wheels, so you can move it around the house if you need to.The one thing I would not buy it for is if you are using it as a bedroom heater. Tried it once, and the loud thermal cutoff click woke me up every time, so had to turn it off in the end.

Heats small-medium room well
Have been using this in my medium sized attic bedroom, that is an office and a guest room with double bed. Heats up quickly and once desired temperature reached the unit switches itself off. Perfect for my needs.

Make sure you register for the extended guarantee if you take a gamble on this one
Bought in September 2024, dead by December 2025. Never really went beyond the lowest of heat settings as it was just used to warm up a small home office. Obviously not used for most months of the short time I had it. Went to use it one day - no lights, no heat. Changed the fuse - nothing. My old one lasted for 20 years. Gutted I didn't see the small print about needing to register it to get the second year of guarantee.

Disappointed my heater was sent to Australia with UK plugs.

decent heaters at a reasonable price
decent oil heater. they get really hot. I wanted something that would give steady background heat. these come on and off as the air around them heats and cools, and stay warm long after they are switched off. I wanted to replace a fan heater as its instant heat and too expensive. I bought 2 of the 7 fin heaters on special offer and that worked out cheaper than one 11 fins one. thought not the same wattage. but they work well together to heat a long room. one does make a clicking noise as it heats for some reason but its not that big an issue. easy to put the brackets and wheels on. though the nuts holding on the brackets could be better quality. but as I'm not pulling them up and down the room it shouldn't pose any problem.
