So far I have no issues with this product, I have only been using it for about a month though. There are three people showering regularly on these squares. To install, you need to clean your bathtub with rubbing alcohol, then wipe it completely dry. Rubbing alcohol works the best because it sucks moisture out, whereas other products are going to leave you with a soaking wet bathtub. If you place these on a wet surface, they are not going to last very long. The design is completely up to you. The adhesive is very strong, I got stuck to the sides of the squares many times while installing, but none from showering. I followed the instructions and didn't let anyone shower for 12 hours. When done during the evening to morning, this should not be too hard to accomplish. Using bathtub cleaners such as Tilex should not effect these squares, but I wouldn't recommend scrubbing your tub unless you are very careful around the adhesive. I do not have information on the removal process yet, or if the squares will leave markings on the tub once gone.

The condo I bought years ago has a tub from the '80s, with that super slick porcelain finish that even for those who are as sure footed as a mountain goat, end up slipping and sliding around. The final straw for me was trying to climb out of the tub, my foot slipping and leaving a huge bruise up my shin where my leg smacked against the side so hard, I could have sworn I broke something. I knew I did not want a rubberized bathmat, they are a pain in the rear end and usually end up stinky and you still slide about if they don't suction down properly, so I went looking for rubberized bath treads that had some sort of style. Here these were! Not the yellow fish or ducks my parents had in the tub, while I grew up in the '70's but something modern and stylish looking, that didn't scream a old klutz lives here! So, I bit the bullet and picked up a pack and I am so glad I did. Having read the reviews of people who had issues with them staying stuck down, I wanted to make sure these were going no where. So here is what I did: First I scoured the tub with comet and a 3M scrubby (old sink sponge) not once but twice Then I rinsed it until I could run my finger along the bottom and not feel an ounce of grit, took about a good 3 to 5 minutes. Then the hard part... I left my tub alone as I had scrubbed it after my morning shower on Friday, I didn't touch it until after Noon on Saturday. I wanted to make sure that in our California heat, my tub would be ultra dry. Next all I needed to do was lay out the treads in a pattern I liked Now came the fun.. STICKER TIME! I applied each tread individually and once it was stuck down where I wanted it, I used my fingers to really work the air bubbles out. Now the next hardest part... LEAVE THE TUB ALONE! No showers, no baths nothing for 16 hours.. yes I needed a shower by Sunday but it was so worth it! Then on Sunday I tested them out... Took a much needed shower, low and behold the treads stayed stuck down! Now as I write my review of these treads a month after receiving them and using them once to twice a day, plus weekends (Lots of showers in this house) they have remained stuck on tub floor and I haven't had a slippage problem since then! Pros: Non Slip Easy to Install Easy to Maintain Cons: None that I've experienced If you have an issue with a slippery tub and you too are afraid you might break your neck, then spend the $7 dollars, take the time to properly install these beauties and you too will enjoy a slip free shower experience!

I bought these to replace "big blue" as my husband and I call it. Big blue is a giant blue suction cup rubber bath mat that sticks to the tub. We bought it to keep our toddler from sliding all over the place but after years of use and a few poops in the tub (aka DEFCON 2) we were sick of having to clean it and clean under it where it got all moldy and gross. I ordered these in hopes of being able to throw out big blue for good and having an easier tub to clean. What appealed to me is that these are stylish and unique and offer freedom to "design" your own layout. Unlike many of the nonslip tub stickies on the market, these don't look super cheesy or overly "kid", as this is also our guest bath. I also like that they are offered in a variety of colors and shapes. The squares happened to go with the square designs on our existing shower curtain. They were easy to put in and they work great! My son was super nervous to get in the tub when he first saw them there in place of big blue (he's autistic and has major sensory issues) but once he got in he loved it and big blue went in the trash! HALLELUJAH! My only criticism would be that there aren't enough of them. I think there needs to be one more set of 3 squares (they come attached to each other in groups of 3 and have to be pulled apart) to really cover the whole surface area of the tub. I mean, you can tell just by looking at their own photo that there aren't enough! The back quarter of the tub is totally neglected! I spread them out sufficiently for it to be ok, but one more trio of squares would really be warranted. Other than that, this product gets both thumbs up from me! UPDATE: AUGUST 2019 I am thrilled to report that it is now 8 months since I first applied these SlipX Safety Treads in our bathtub and they are as pristine as the day I put them down. Not a one has moved or started peeling up and there is absolutely no sign of any mold or mildew whatsoever. It truly surprises me that there are still so many negative reviews being written but I guess it all depends on the surface of the individual tub or in the application. For me, I am beyond pleased! ORIGINAL REVIEW: JANUARY 2019 I was tired of the usual bathmat nightmares - mildew, having to rinse and hang to air dry after every shower. Yuck! You all know the drill and misery so I took a chance on these SlipX Solutions Adhesive Square Safety Treads as an alternative. I used two packs of these safety treads to create the "bathmat" full coverage design you see in the picture I have attached. The length of our tub bottom is 47". I noticed that when I put them down by hand, with just pressing the squares down with my fingers I couldn't really apply enough pressure to get all of the bubbles out from underneath the treads. Part of the problem is that the treads are rough and it is tough on the skin of your fingers to try to press any harder to get better adhesion. So, I looked for something solid that was close to identical of the width of the thin sided treads and came up with the flat top of the cap of a bottle of nail polish. With the tightly closed, inverted bottle of nail polish in hand (and this is where the "elbow grease" part of the application comes in), I went over each and every inch of each and every tread pressing down hard with the plastic nail polish cap until 98% of the bubbles were gone (you can see the difference in the 2nd photo I attached). After a few minutes, a couple of bubbles reappeared under some of the treads but I was diligent in making sure that I had every outer edge of each tread completely pressed down. I will admit, it wasn't easy but I was determined to make these treads work. In conclusion, the treads have been down for a month now and not a one has moved or loosened and I had feared that where some rare, small bubbles had reappeared under some of the treads that mildew would start growing under the treads but so far, no problem at all. It was, admittedly a lot of work to secure each one individually as I did but, let me tell you, it was sooooo worth it! I now have a totally maintenance-free bathtub - we shower and get out of the tub and don't give a second thought to the "bath mat". Hallelujah! I really do believe that, if you are willing to put in the extra time and work at the point of installation, these treads could be a dream come true for you too.

Garbage. Installed exactly like directions said. 91% isopropyl used to prep, waited 24 hours. Peeling loose after a week. Can’t exactly return what’s installed. Rip off.

Work great! Put these in the tub and in the shower over a year ago and they are still working fine! They haven’t come off or peeled at all very happy!

I’ll preface my review with: my tub does have an uneven surface (the bottom isn’t smooth) However, these didn’t stick for even one shower. So if you’re apply to a tub that’s already has an even surface, don’t bother. I’m not sure how they’d hold up on a smooth surface. These were attractive and easy to peel. I was able to space them out well across the whole tub - there were a lot of stickers in the pack. We applied them to our brand new, never been used tub days before we ever used it. Before the end of the very first shower, two stickers had come off. By the end of 3 weeks, we had lost all but a few (see photo).

We love our SlipX Solutions Adhesive Squares and they look amazing! We read the reviews and followed the directions of: 1. Clean & remove any film or residue from the shower floor (I used alcohol); 2. Let it dry completely; 3. Using a hair dryer, heat the floor of the shower for a few seconds (I even heated the decal for a second to warm the glue on the back); then immediately remove the backing from the decal and lay it flat-making sure all of the bubbles are out from under the decal, pressing down as you move out the air underneath. 4. Repeat for each decal. It’s not hard work but it does take some time so prepare for it so you don’t rush. We used two sets and it was just enough. Hint: lay out the pattern you want first when the decals still have backing, move them around, find the pattern you love THEN take a picture of it so you can refer to the original pattern as you are working. Believe me, that will save you a lot of time. We have had the decals on for several months and no problems at all! I would buy these again! Update - June 07, 2024: It has been almost 2 years and the decals are still going strong! We have had 1 or 2 of the tiniest bubbles come up on one of the decals but it is still holding steady. If you take the time to do all the prep steps properly, your decals shall last and last! Definitely recommend this product! Another update - Nov 28, 2025: It has now been almost 4 years and the decals are still holding their color, shape and position! I wish everything held up this well! Do not hesitate to buy IF you are willing to adhere them per the specific instructions, hair dryer and all. Highly recommend!

I really wish I had bought these ages ago instead of the countless bath mats I went through trying to get one that I felt was secure enough for me and my son to get in and out of without it suddenly slipping away. Couldn't praise these enough put them down left them over night and first try no problems even covered in soap they still grip to your feet. Worry free shower times for me and my son eventually!! Many many thanks.

Clean surface, let them set for 24 hours, they still all came off.

Terrible.came off after a week.asked for refund.

Easy to install and have performed very well for over a year. One of smaller squares has come off so we ordered another set and will replace pieces as necessary. Much easier to install that strips and have lasted much longer. Provides good slip-protection in the tub.

After washing the tub and cleaningit dry I added these.(waited a day then showered) The ones near the bottom of the shower head were sliding off quickly. The rest stayed on.
