I have NEVER EVER purchased boxed root touch-up before. Nor have I ever touched up my roots with any permanent product. I have to get my gray roots touched up every 5 weeks. I use root-touch up powder the week-and-a-half prior to my 5 week appointment so I don’t have to go every 4 weeks. With all the salons being closed due to the pandemic, I was in a quandary where to turn. By this time, my roots were almost 2 inches of gray! UGH!! I read a lot of reviews for many different hair products but decided on this one....OH MY GOSH!!! It turned out BEAUTIFULLY!!! I’ve heard horror stories from my (high-end) salon about how you should NEVER mention the words “box color” in their presence (lol!) But I’m so glad not only that I took a chance, but that I chose this product to make the leap. I would genuinely use this every 4-5 weeks instead of going to the salon (it’s THAT good) but I couldn’t effectively do the root touch-up in the back of my head. The color actually matched better IMO than what I get at the salon (I chose dark blond). Also included with the kit was 2 pair of salon-quality black gloves, 2 head-covers, 2 bowls and one packet each of shampoo and conditioner (wasn’t expecting that). The kit supplies 2 root-touch kits. The directions were flawless and very simple to follow. I would choose dpHUE Root Touch-Up Kit again and again.

It was fairly easy to use and I liked the brush. Package came with 2 kits. I ordered the dark blond and it is a bit darker than my hair so next time I will order the medium blond.

The color is very beautiful, it makes the hair shiny and the tonality is unique, unfortunately, this number does not cover the whiteness of the hair

This product was recommended by my hairdresser during COVID. I had used it with great results and completely forgot about it once the world reopened. However I now have my hair colored every six weeks for a single process, after tips and who knows what else I leave the salon spending close to$400.00 way too much for every 6 weeks. . I decided to try the dpHue again and wow am I glad I did, I will definitely use each box ( 2 applications ) between salon treatments, reducing my salon visits to once every 16-18 weeks!! This is a wonderful product and I am extremely hard to please with my hair

I've used this product for years. I've always purchased from the company direct or from Ulta or Sephora. I purchased through Amazon for ease this time. Unfortunately, something wasn't right with that in ordered. The color of the product in the tube was not what it normally is- not sure if it was expired or opened. And it didn't actually work. My roots were still gray. I just ordered direct through the company again and that product was good. So, I wouldn't order through Amanzon again.

Did not cover the grey hair (roots). I left it on for one hour (more than was asked for in directions). Three stars because they did provide plenty of accessories and easy to apply and non smelling and good directions. Nice color where it did work. BUT not good for resistant grey roots.

The color is expired and did not work on my Grey's, not sure why Sephora stopped selling this brand as I have something to comoare it with, but I don't think if is available in Canada anymore so I was happy to see Amazon carry it but it looks like not the same formula or old product was shipped to me, no refunds allowed and no response from seller. I still have 1 left and will be throwing it away, unfortunately as it use to be a great product.
