Lavika Universal Cockpit Cover, Black, Medium

Fits almost perfectly on Sundolphin Excursion 10' Sit-In Kayaks.Bought this after a lot of research. Seemed like most cockpit cover manufacturers are in it for the high-end $1000.00+ kayak owner. Got blown off by more than one of the major cover manufacturers after searching their sites - yeah I get it this isn't a super expensive kayak but there have to be tons of owners looking for these covers just like I was - the sundolphins are sold all over and at pretty reasonable prices. Called two other cover manufacturers and was told flat out that a cover for the kayak I'd bought would be a custom order and run about a third of what I paid for the kayak itself. Took a gamble on this one and it worked out great.If you can find this grab it. The shape of the lip on the sundolphins is a little irregular - I was told, sitting high in the back and narrow in the front but after a year of use I've encountered a total of zero bugs, critters, wolf spiders or anything else after getting out on the water and the cover fits pretty snugly once you get it on and pull the drawstring.Thanks for reading, hope this helps!!

I have three yaks that I store by the water in the summer- a tandem and two solos.This cover fits and has a very easy to use elastic draw string to snug up around the cockpit opening. No bugs get in. It is great.On the cons side- the material feels really cheap when you first open it. The basic cover is nylon, which is fine, but the trim which holds the draw cord feels like really thin cheap vinyl, so I am not so sure about durability. But given that the cover just sits on the kayak and doesn't have any stress put on it, no problems so far. I would not use this as a cover for car transport. I think it would rip.The kayak it fit was a KL Industries Sun Dolphin Excursion 10' Fishing Kayak.Sea to Summit Solution Gear Road Trip Neoprene Cockpit Cover. It was twice the price, much higher quality, but it did not fit- so useless and had to return it.

I have a Wilderness Rascal kayak with a cockpit measuring 35 inches by 20 inches. The Lavika Universal Cockpit Cover is very large but I was able to snug it down to fit my cockpit. The material appears to be waterproof but only time will tell if this is true! This is an inexpensive cover and hopefully it will keep out the rain and bugs!Considering the price paid, I am pleased with my purchase.

This was the only cover that i could find to fit my plucan kayak. It works great, except when left in the rain. I wish there was a strap to go around the bottom which would hold the cover from caving in when water pools up. Just remember to flip your boat uspide-down after you put the cover on and it should work great.

I've got two Kayaks that have openings that are exactly in the middle of the specifications for this cover.The cover has a very large diameter elastic chord and the material along the edges of the cover is not easily moved to make it smaller. There's no cinch lock mechanism when tightening the chord, I guess you're expected to tie a knot in it when you tighten it up.I'll have to see how they stay on the kayaks. It was fairly difficult to get them on, and it was almost 80 degrees today. I can imagine that it will only be more difficult when it's colder out.I guess I should have known better. The price was very tempting. I'll give it a week or so to try out,then I'll probably return them.

I own a sun dolphin Aruba 10' kayak and it fits perfect. I have tried other universal ones and had to return. Very happy with this one.

The cover seems well made for its price, but sadly I had to return it. I own a Pelican Trailblazer (10 ft) and I thought from the other reviews that it would fit. Wrong. Be sure to properly measure your kayak opening. Measure the raised ridge not the opening itself. Amazon was, as always, very accommodating and promptly sent return sticker and credited my card.

I needed a cover for my kayak to keep bugs/spiders out of it. Didn't want to be on the water and have something crawl up my leg, cause then I'd be in the water!! This does a good job. Cannot use while hauling as it is not that snug, but serves my purpose just fine! I can also keep my paddle, cooler, lifevest, etc inside the boat for storage.
