jetta ignition
Worked perfectly on my 2010 Jetta. It requires a little bit of effort to replace the unit, but after that, Bobs' your uncle!

Works for 2009 VW Rabbit
Installed this in my MK5 Rabbit (Golf). Works great. I was expecting some roughness or a little binding based on reviews, but this performs just like the factory one. Fitment was a non issue as well. Had it for a month now. So far I'm satisfied with this purchase.After a few more months, the switch mechanism has now become "notchy". Mostly when I am turning the car off, the mechanism now requires some effort to rotate to the off position. Sometimes to the point that I have to grip the key fob in my hand (not just my fingers) to turn it. Other than that, it still functions.

2012 VW Jetta
I have installed it to 2012 VW Jetta. It came defective, while starting it cuts off the power. When I turn the ignition and give start it starts after I release it, while turning backwards it cuts off the power and car shuts off. I wrote to seller to replace it but haven't never ever received the answer. So I don't recommend to buy this brand.

OEM Quality
I postponed for several years to fix this switch for fear of having to take it to the VW dealer, until I found this part. I immediately ordered it and in several hours on a Saturday my MK5 Jetta was back to her original factory condition, the accuracy of the construction of this part goes above OEM specs.
