Can't Ask for a Better Affordable Soldering Station
This is a great non-production soldering station for all electronic enthusiasts and even repair needs. I've owne them all over the years and this is the best deal I have found, so far for a light duty soldering station. It does everything well that a soldering station should do. It heats up very quickly to the selected temperature and maintains it very well as you solder. Of course it's not for heavy duty wiring and heat sucking soldering jobs. You need a higher wattage iron for that kind of stuff. But, it is perfect for PCB and delicate soldering use. Grounded tip protects CMOS & static-sensitive devices. Soft silicone cord is easy to handle - you don't have to fight with it. Comfortable & Cool lightweight cushioned iron, too. Nice selection of tip for various types of jobs including knife type included. My only complaint is that the blue LED display is too dim for viewing in a brightly lit area, like where you solder! Otherwise, it really puts Weller and others to shame at this pricepoint of $50-60. Highly recommended.

Good solder setup!
Works great. Heats up super fast and does exactly what it should do.

The 939D+ is a good soldering station.
I've been using the 939D+ since early 2021. I do a good bit of soldering on personal projects. It has never let me down. Till using original tips. I don't have a calibrated temperature sensor so I don't know how accurate the temperature reading is, but it is in the ballpark. I just observe how the solder is melting and whether there is excessive smoke. Adjust temp accordingly. Would definitely recommend it. Would buy it again if I needed another. Ensure you are getting the 939D+.

A quality soldering station for a great price
I purchased this unit in August of 2021 and have been using it almost daily since receiving it. There are both pros and cons to everything you purchase so here are mine: Pros: Heats up VERY fast and remains at temperature indefinitely. The iron is comfortable in my hand and feels solid. The display is bright and clear. The display is large enough to be seen from any angle and can be seen in bright light with little effort. It does a great job soldering electronic circuit boards and components. The spare tips fit perfectly and are easy to change out. Cons: The heating light continues to blink and gets annoying after a few minutes. The temperature control is VERY sensitive and the slightest bump can turn your temp up or down. The temperature control is very fidgety and you can have difficulty fine tuning the temperature in Fahrenheit, it has a tendency to blow past the temp you're trying to dial in. Over all it is a good quality soldering station. I have purchased 2 more since buying mine as gifts for other people getting into the soldering game for amateur radio building and repair and I will continue to buy them as giveaways and gifts until they are discontinued. Thank you YIHUA for a quality product I can count on and be proud to own.

*Impressive*
I've had this for a couple of years now, spending the last year in a closet, as I had switched back to my 1996 station. I did that because I was too stubborn to change my way of thinking that, "heat up a mass of iron and let it idle hard!" was the way to go. Just the other day, I was like... Umm... A half hour later, I was swapping power cords with my old station, and retiring it. Pulsed power on demand is COOL! THIS is a wonderful station. Something I never knew in my old station was that the weight that I liked about it, came from a chunk of lead. 28 years later... ... 28 years later, I was thrilled to find a real CHUNKY iron transformer in my - new - station! * - did ya notice how I dropped in a bit about swapping the power cord? Sigh... The cord on this station is 3', on a good day. Thanks to a transplant, it's now 6'. (whad you call a soldering iron doing a transplant on itself???) bottom line - Recommended! (save your old power cord!)

For the price, it is a great value.
I have a 30 year old xytronic which I used for everything. However, getting tips for it on short notice was costly and time consuming. Buying a couple tips and a new heating element was greater cost than buying this unit, with accessories. There is absolutely a build quality difference. But so far it's performance has been equal or better to the old xytronic. For the price I strongly suggest it.

So much fun, I bought the special edition too!
Works well. I also have a Hakko FX888D. This works just as well, but is half the price and easier to control (knob vs button combinations to change the temperature). I have been doing some microscopic soldering lately and I needed a second iron to switch tips and temperature without waiting for cool down (a larger tip helps when whicking away solder bridges). I like this one so much that I decided to buy one of the green anniversary edition version too. The only thing I recommend is that the main triac has a heatsink but no thermal grease, so you may consider adding some to extend the lifetime of that component.
