Andi Diehn’s book about Mary Leakey is intriguing. Mary sounds like someone who was determined to live life the way she liked. She worked towards a life where she could be outside enjoying nature and at the same time doing research and discovery to help mankind. Ms. Diehn’s timelines help put her subjects’ lives into a visual context for her readers to compare with their own lives. Her suggested activities are always fun and something to look forward to as the end of the book nears. Excellent book!

Good read.

Too basic for a 8 years old but I won’t recommend it for younger kids... in a few pages explain who she was daughter of and wife of... completely out of date.
