I'm no tea snob, but I like to drink a lot of tea. I don't mess around with nuanced temperature or brew times - I just boil water and put some tea in it. Sometimes, I'm on it and remember to pull the leaves out within a few minutes, and sometimes I forget until the water is room temp. This tea is good at all intervals of the spectrum. Very nice, subtle flavor. A bit heavy on the coconut, and a bit mild on the oolong flavor. A really nice, light tea with a bit of caffeine.

I've been trying various Oolong Teas and came across Tealyra. I'm used to strong black tea but after reading that too much black tea can cause kidney stones, I've switched to Oolong and Green in addition to the herbals in the afternoon. I'm happy with the products of this tea company. As for the various Oolongs I've purchased, the differences are too subtle for my palate, but I enjoy them nonetheless. I ordered this Coconut Milky Oolong and haven't been disappointed. If your looking for a strong coconut flavor, this isn't for you. The scent and taste are very, very subtle but it is a pleasant tea! I would recommend it as a good tea to drink, just not one heavy in flavor.

It tastes good

I was in heaven when I opened the bag & the tea's incredible fragrance wafted up! I was thrilled when the fragrance of the tea translated into a yummy brew. I'm a flavored tea drinker - normally prefer light to medium brews. This one had a full body without muskiness or bitterness. The sweetness of the coconut probably didn't need the sugar I added but it wasn't hurt by it either. Thoroughly delicious. I brewed 4 tsps in a 12 oz teapot for 3 minutes - a great experience. Very much reminded me of Golden Moon's best seller Coconut Pouchong - a 10+ year favorite of mine.

The flavor of oolong is too light, and there is no coconut flavor, a bit creamy

Seemed a bit pricey for the weight, until you realize just how far a little bit goes! Delicious flavor; this tea has become my nightly dessert!

So, this could have been my own ignorance of what I was buying, but this tasted nothing like “regular” coconut oolong tea. I think the “milky” part is what threw me off. The flavor was completely different than what I was expecting. The smell was great, so I’m sure this was a quality tea. Just the flavor was not what I wanted.

This tea is absolutely delicious! I’ve replaced one of my daily cups of coffee with a cup of this! I’ve also iced it and added a package or two of Stevia and drink it on ice with meals in place of my Diet Pepsi which I’ve had so much trouble quitting in the past. This is tea is AMAZING!
