Easy to use!
Easy to setup and use, can add up to 3 feeds a day which is very useful. Clips securely onto tank and thanks to colour fish don’t seem wary of it either. Adjustable feeding with slider. Thanks!

Superb fish feeder, very reliable!
The media could not be loaded. We bought this to feed our tank whilst away on holiday - it worked perfectly! It was a little tricky to set up, but a bit of patience and testing and it was soon feeding the fish whenever we wanted. The feed amount is sorted by moving a slide hatch back and forth, so this was the bit that took the longest just to get the feed amount right - no big deal.We had it running for a few days before we went away just to get the comfort it worked every time and it did.The manual override function is also great meaning at the tap of button you can drop a mid-time feed in if they look hungry. We're so happy with it that we have actually left it on the tank now and it feeds our fish everyday. Says the batteries will last up to 6mths and after a few weeks of using it every day the battery indicator is still showing plenty of juice so it might well make the 6mth time period. For the money, it does seem to be a good bit of gear for sure.

Feeds the fish!
Bought this to feed aquarium fish while away for 10 days. The programming instructions are a bit difficult to follow if you need them, but this programmes much like other similar things so not hard if you have done this before.I set it up and checked it worked for a few days before relying on it, placing it over a bowl so i could monitor how much food was dispensed. It worked flawlessly, revolving at the times set and releasing the food. I only used pellets as some reviews say flake can get damp and clog the stored food, but pellets were fine. The amount of food dispensed is determined by the size that you adjust the opening in the food chamber to. I have a good size tank (260 litres) with plenty of fish but found i needed to set as small as it would go for a twice a day feed. My only issue is the fixing bracket. It is designed to clamp to the vertical top side of the tank and hang over the water- in which case it would be great. I have an enclosed tank with lid ( as most do i believe), with small a removable panel for feeders to be fitted above. If this is your set up you will need to rig up a small bracket of your own, to imitate the tank wall so you can fit this to a vertical edge and sit it over the hole.Seems reliable, does the job, just consider how it will fit for you and allow time before leaving fish to set up and check it works ok. Multi position bracket would have been nice.

Complete fishy peace of mind!!
The media could not be loaded. Previously, when going on holiday I’ve always arranged for friends/family to look after my fish tank. But what do you do when you go away with the same friends and family? This was my worry. This is brilliant!! Complete peace of mind! Especially as the sticks/gels that are an alternative are only suitable for some of the fish in the tank. This is easy to set up. 2 AA batteries (not supplied), and then press/hold the on button. Then press and hold the setting button. Up/down arrows for the hours, the minutes, then first timing… hours, minutes, then choose the rotations. Options for 4 feeds per day. Easy.Top slides open to put the food in. Slider on the device to simply choose how much food falls out. There is a button to do a rotation there and then, making it easy to trial how much food you’re feeding… I tried it attached to a bowl to start off with (ie. Work out if it’s doing what it should be, without having to stand and watch). It does!!!Brilliant!!Genuinely delighted. Absolute peace of mind. Worth every penny!

Make sure to test over a cup before use!
Well... If I was going on holiday for the next 3 weeks, the tank has enough food to last, although I could have just saved my money on the feeder and poured half of the tub of food in. Put it on the smallest gap and tested how much would come out, into the tank, big mistake. If you use very small food then some tape is needed and under no circumstances test over the tank unless you want to be frantically cleaning it before school runs. The clip comes off so if you have similar set up to mine you can stick it in the top. Got the hole size about right for the amount it should feed, not going to feed them for a few days now though as they have a full banquet despite trying to suck as much out as possible. Will update once I have it set up fully.

Perfect solution to an age old problem for fish owners
This (or rather these since I now have three) little device has been a perfect soltion to the issue of how to feed the fish when away for any number of nights. So easy to use and adjustable to suit whatever your requirements are for amount of food.Straight out the box you could add batteries, turn on and set the time and then get two feeds per day which is what we have done.Have been using it for about 8 months now with no problems whatsoever.
