Photoshop 7 for Dummies

I just got the book but it has over 400 pages and is very thorough

Sometimes you just need a book that doesn't act like you already "know it all". That's when I buy the "dummy" books. I've only read a little of this but I think it will help along with my other books on Photoshop. Also...I love buying from Amazon because the books come so quickly (unlike most of the "used" book dealers").

I have a lot of difficulty using photoshop and have found that the Dummy series has helped me in other endeavors, so I am sure that this one will help me immensely. It has already showed me how to fix backgrounds, and enhance colors, etc. I'm glad I found it cheap and it arrived just the way the seller said it would.

If you're new to Photoshop and you have no clue as to what's going on when you open the program and give it a browse, this book is a great starting tool. It has a lot of visual aides and simply describes how to perform basic image editing tasks.

I bought this book used, and it is in excellent shape! I am using Photoshop 7 with limited knowledge of how it works, and this book is proving to provide excellent guidance.

When I ordered this book, I thought for sure that this book is what I was looking for to help me learn how to use Photoshop 7. I had difficulty in comprehending the content of the first 3 chapters. I came away feeling that this book was too difficult for me to understand. I have ordered another book and I hope I'll have better luck this time.

I am a beginner to Photoshop so find this book right up my alley. It gives me a good idea where to start my learning process.

Speaking as a Photoshop Dummy, I found this book to be a good guideline to making some sense of the program for me. Need to give myself more time to really work at it.

As with all Dummies books I found this one useful to dip in and out of. Yes I had done a basic course on Adobe at my local tech collage and this was a useful reminder of what we were taught. If I was coming into it "cold" I think it might be a bit overwhelming.What infuriates me about this and all the Dummies books is the attempt at being jokey. It is not necessary and is totally off putting.PLEASE DUMMIES KEEP TO THE TUTORING AND LEAVE THE JOKES TO SOMEONE ELSE

As I have found with all the dummies books, they are easy to use and you get good value for your money.
