The media could not be loaded.  This is another gift for my kids but wanted to see how it worked (and hoped I didn't break it!).The ball basically goes up with an obstacle underneath and doesnt keep going up either. The remote helps to bring the unit down as well and in case of an emergency, can be shutoff.This will be great for both indoors and outdoor but for outdoors it shouldn't have too much wind. In either case, this is a wonderful toy that I'm sure my kids will love!

Purchased these for the grand kids to play with. They love them and their parents love them too. These are a lot of fun and definitely best flown on an open area of lawn, especially when new at it, because they will be cushioned if they do fall. The kids have already improved so much with these, watching where they are headed and being in place with their hand to stop these from falling. These flying balls would certainly make a fun gift and already come in a simple gift box. These truly are a blast and it's fun to build your skill level!

These things are crazy flying balls that have a mind of their own and aren’t soft when they hit you. The remotes don’t work all the time and they aren’t controlled by your hand or objects. They slam into everything. I wouldn’t recommend for kids at all, but the grown folks used them for lots of laughs at Christmas.

The media could not be loaded.  I was really hoping this thing was good, because my son had been begging for one, and it was the main thing he wanted. Well...as you can see in the video, it doesn't work. It's supposed to hover, but it doesn't fly at all. The click buttons also don't work...the balls turn on and off randomly...sometimes they won't turn on at all. It seems like the charger doesn't work either. We charged it for 30 minutes like the directions say...we made sure it wasn't a fast charger, and either the toy didn't charge, because it was weak after just a few minutes, or it just doesn't work. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and the kids are super bummed.

I gave these to my young grandchildren for Christmas. Checking with the parents later I found that they had tried out the flying balls before letting the kids get near them, and from what they said, I'm glad they did! The parents said that the balls flew erratically and uncontrollably around and could easily have smacked into the children. I was also told that the balls started flying by themselves and would not stop. Both sets of parents threw the balls away for the safety of their kids. I am embarrassed that I gave my precious grandchilden such a dangerous "toy". Looks like a fun toy, but beware, these are no fun!

Finally tried for the first time outside since getting at Christmas. Worked great - so great that it went up and out of range of the little remote. Up, up, up and down the street above all the houses and trees - sure hope my neighbors like a random whirring you falling out of the sky when the battery finally dies. We'll be trying the other one inside.

This was an impulse purchase by Grandma to fill Christmas stockings. I was leary they would be worth the money but I was wrong. The grandsons (8 and 10) loved them. The dog wasn't quite as happy. The boys are pretty rough sometimes but these flying balls seem to have held up well. The crashed several times and hit a wall or two with no noticeable damage. We might purchase a second set to keep at our house for them to use when visiting. We'd recommend buying them.

This is one kick butt great toy. I have bought a total of 8 from 3 manufacturers and love them all. We have never played with a kid before. It could take an eye out. Lol. Buy them and buy many.
