This is a perfect beach towel! It is a large blanket perfect for a beach hang, but it is thin enough that it rolls up very small and can easily fit in a small daypack. While it's thin, it's still very absorbent and great for drying off. Lives up to it's claim of not having sand stick to it!

I love these towels! They are so much cuter than a typical beach towel and the sand comes off really easily! Great gift for someone who goes to the beach a lot!

Beautiful towels. I purchased 2 tan colored ones last summer and we took them to the beach several times, I love them. They dry quickly and don’t pick up sand. They’re nice to lay or sit on at the beach. Also really pretty to have at home rolled up sitting in a basket etc. ready to grab and go. I figured I’d buy 2 more in a different color “Army Green” for this summer to add to the collection…however I did not realize how difficult this would be. My first order of 2 towels I received one Army Green and one regular green (pictured). This is not a dye lot thing, these are straight up a different color. I started a return for the regular green towel and sent it back only to receive a replacement of the same regular green towel lol…sent that one back also and decided what the heck I’ll just order 3 at once and hopefully I’ll get at least the 1 additional “Army Green” towel. Well my order of 3 just delivered and I received 1 “Army Green” and 2 regular green haha but now I FINALLY have my pair of Army Green towels! 🤣

These towels far surpassed my expectations. Firstly, they’re gorgeous. I ordered several different colors and all are true to color and vibrant. The quality is great, they’ve held up for several washes with no wear or damage even to the tassels. They’re super quick drying, perfect for long days at the beach when you use the same towel 20 times. They repel sand!!!! I specifically wanted to test this claim, and it’s true. I used my towel in the sand to lay out, shook it off when I was done and wrapped it around myself and it wasn’t sandy. They are the perfect thickness, not as thick as a regular Beach towel, so we’re able to fit several easily in it suitcases on beach vacay. These towels are so pretty (and good sized) I would take them to any outdoor event/camping/stadium where you might get chilly. I get so many compliments on these towels.

I will start off by saying that I do not usually write reviews, and I’m a pretty avid Amazon shopper. I have seen mixed reviews on these towels, so I want wanted to share. I looked for about a week straight for Turkish towels for my boyfriend and I to take on our cruise to the Bahamas. I was skeptical because of the absorbency ratings, but gave it a shot. These towels are absolutely wonderful!! I am 5’6 and had enough room to lay out without my head or feet in the sand, even after washing them (they did not shrink). On our second beach day, a storm came through and we had to walk about 3/4 of a mile and stand in the downpour. My boyfriend put his towel over our backpack, and when we got back to the room, the bag was only damp. The towel was soaked, of course, but dried pretty fast once we rung it out and hung it up. You can only imagine how absorbent it was when drying just us off. They fit perfectly in our standard size backpack with wallets, keys, phones, travel bag for medicine, a change of clothes for each of us, and all the small random items. So soft and lightweight. These towels are so amazing and I will definitely be ordering more!

I bought the hand towels originally to see if they were as absorbent as they claimed. I thought they were a pretty accent as opposed to traditional hand towels. Not only are they pretty they are also absorbent. I’ve had my hand towels for two years and they’re still holding up. I put them on a delicate wash in the AM with some oxyclean and they clean up beautifully. Hang dry them on the bathroom hook and they’re pretty much dry by the time I need them again. I have gifted them to friends and family and they too have enjoyed them.

Great size towel. Nice, lightweight, and thin just like they are supposed to be. Come wrapped nice and spa fancy.But it’s like trying to dry off with your t-shirt. It doesn’t really do it. It seems to just move the water around.

I was recently introduced to Turkish towels while browsing a home accessories store in my area. I was interested in trying them at the beach, but not at a price tag of $85 each, so I returned home and looked up some options on Amazon. Thus far, we've ordered 4 different brands and I must say that this set is my favourite because of the softness and density of the fabric - they're much heavier than the other towels we ordered (even the other Smyrna colour option we tried). In my opinion, these towels are simply the best - better than all the rest.

These are a real disappointment. They are as thin as a Kleenex and they do not absorb water. It's a real pity as they look wonderful. I have Turkish towels and they are definitely inferior and the price is high. I would not recommend these.

As others have noted, this lovely peshtemal smells like petrochemicals. Despite being labelled as pre-washed, it's also quite lint-y on first use. It dries very quickly, and my final judgement will be based on it's qualities after its first machine wash and dry. Lovely colour, exactly as described. Not sure if this is going in my backpack or not, as I have a microfiber towel that takes half the space (but is also half the size).Well - a week or so after, the towel has not lived up to expectations. After a couple washes and a few uses, there's still lint coming off the towel - both on the shower floor and in my dryer. Not impressed

Absolutely LOVE these. I have other brands but this one was the PERFECT weight for me. Still folds up to take NO space in the closet but is soft and surprisingly absorbent. Quite a stunning look. If you want that big plus towel experience this is not for you, but I love them and plan to replace the rest of my towels with these - will save SO much space and they can all be washed in one load. Can’t beat it!

I love the towels. Could be a bit wider but they are gorgeously long. Disappointed in the fact that I choose either grey or dark grey and got grey blue and brown but am using them anyway
