Great windshield
Packed very well, quick shipping and it fit perfectly in my ‘86 CJ7. The install is time consuming, so be patient, use lots of dish soap to lube up the seal and run a string in the grove to help pull the lip over the frame. I also used a plastic spreader to help massage the lip over the frame.

If you have a problem with an order call and it will be resolved.
I ordered a windshield for a 1979 cj5 and later found out my jeep has a 1975 windshield frame. this was my fault and had to send it back. there was a mix up on return costs but Jon from Ace Pickup Parts called me and every thing was clarified. Jon was very polite and understanding.

Great product. Great packaging. Great store.
Arrived ahead of schedule and was very securely packaged. I was really worried about that -- it's a windshield after all! Price was outstanding and my husband was thrilled to get one of his "big items" marked off his wish list for the Jeep restoration. Couldn't be happier with this seller. Would highly recommend and will probably be looking for more of their items in the near future. Thanks again!

I bought this along with...
Omix-Ada 12301.04 Windshield Glass Seal and had a horrible time getting them to fit but I don't know which to blame for not fitting, or if they are not compatible. I installed the rubber on the glass with no problem but when it came time for it to test fit down in the windshield recess it was about an 1/8" to big all the way around. I didn't want to deal with returns so ended up cutting the rubber down with a 4" grinder very carefully to make it fit and I ended up happy with it other than I could see some grind lines.I installed it on a factory windshield frame from a 79 cj7.

Does NOT fit!!
If I could have given it a zero or negative numbers, I would! Wrong size. Too big to fit in place with rubber gasket. Trimmed 1/8" off one side and top with diamond cutting wheel. Still too large. Too tight of a fit to install. Got windshield/gasket assembly in place using string trimmer trick, but windshield broke when I tried to seat gasket gently with lubrication. How hard is it to figure out how large Jeep windshields should be? Seems to be a common affliction. Very sorry I wasted my money!!

Tight fit into new after market frame.
It's a tight fit. Not for a novice to install. First one came in shattered but the folks I got it from got a new one out tout suite.
