Is there a way to see where the luggage is? If I lose it can I locate it on the web?

Hi - These tags are not for real-time tracking but to help in recovery.Dynotags get location information when they are scanned or viewed with a web browser. They don't actively broadcast GPS co-ordinates. So, in the case of a bag, they can be used to locate a person who has found the bag and viewed the tag, but can't be used to track the bag's movements. The view notification and location (when available) is only sent when the tag is viewed by a third party.Please note that Lost&Found offices, first responders, security and transportation service staff are required to give their best effort to contact you using the information in the tag.  A dynotag on your luggage provides them with that information, helping you recover your goods. Can you gps locate this tag on your luggage? Or does it have to be scanned by whoever finds the bag as stated in the review below?

Looks like just anyone could detatch it from your luggage.  What good is it them?

You should glue it as they recommend. Also, once you register your tag I don't believe anyone else can re-register it.

Would i be able to keep track of an alzheimers patient if i put in shoe

No, unfortunately not.   You cannot track people in real time with dynotags.  A cell phone with tracking turned on is your best bet .
