365 by Whole Foods Market, Organic Pitted Kalamata Olives, 4.6 Ounce

I really like the taste of these Kalamata olives. They have that rich, briny flavor I expect, and they’re nice and firm without being too soft or mushy. They work well as a snack on their own or added to salads and other dishes. The flavor is consistent and exactly what I was hoping for from this kind of olive. The only downside is that one of the jars ( I purchased four jars) arrived with the lid loose, and the liquid had leaked out. That was a bit of a mess and definitely not ideal. The rest were fine, but it did affect the overall experience a little. Even with that issue, I still enjoy the product itself and would get it again because the olives taste really good.

Love these WF Market pitted, Kalamata olives, brined in vinegar and salt. They have a perfect salty/briny/meaty taste/texture/flavor balance, and there's no need to rinse off the often heavy, gloppy residue found in some oil-brined Kalamata olives. These olives taste fresh and not overly salty, making them ideal on their own, or in veggie or pasta salads. And they're especially good when making homemade tapenade, as they just need to be drained, then you can use your own preferred olive oil as the recipe calls for.

These olives are very fresh tasting and have a nice firm texture. They taste like the olives I get at the olive bar at my grocery store, but have the convenience of coming in a jar. They stay fresh for a very long time and I’ve never seen a pit in the jar. I usually add them to a Greek salad I make with feta, red onions, and a homemade vinaigrette. They are great in many other recipes I make as well. They are priced well, have never leaked in transit, and add versatility to my cooking. I highly recommend them!

These are a nice sized jar for two meals so you will not have leftovers for too long. They are halfway between black olives and Kalamata olives in taste. Not as salty as usual. I wasn’t sure about that at first but I decided I liked them. One big negative was one Jar of four had a loose lid. Not normally an issue but Amazon packaged them with Socks, a shirt, boots and shoes. Everything was damp and smells like pickles. Everything was boxed or sealed so no damage but it just was odd that more care wasn’t taken to package.

Delicious right from the jar! A great snack or I put them in a salad with cucumbers,feta cheese, tomatoes etc just great quality so good!
