Excellent waterer ~ even throughout Minnesota winters!
This is the second waterer like this that we have purchased. We have nothing but good to say about this waterer. It is wonderful to not have to haul out waterer and worry about an animal touching a heating element in a trough. This heated waterer is fully automatic as far as keeping the water at the correct level and also keeping the water from freezing up during the coldest days of our winters.

You have to call Brower and get the water pressure part so they don't leak!
The troughs worked great but the water would not shut off. You have to call Brower and get the water regulator part and install and then they work fine.

This is a good trough not winter here yet so true test is yet to come, this is not an easy install unless it's replacing one similiar. I knew it was required to have water and electricity but hooking up wasn't just a simple thing, poured a concrete slab with a access hole in center for water and power and blocked up trough for hookup and lowered onto slabThe float assembly was too big and the end of the float would hit the power cord tube and not let flit shut off water at desired height, I had to put a piece of pvc pipe between the float pipe and the power cord tube to spread them apart just a 1/4" or so so float would be free of obstructionInstructions are fairly vagueI am hoping for a ice free trough this winter
