This is a nice, well-build cabinet with fairly good features. It's made of aluminium all round, expect the sides which are mirrored. The two shelves could use more finely-spaced holes, the options are fairly limited as the hinges and demister cable block them. The plastic brackets feel a little loose.Other reviews mention the door doesn't quite line up with the two lit mirrors on each side, and I'd agree with that, it's off by a few mm but not really noticeable. You MIGHT be able to pad one of the (non-nadjustable) hinges to line it up, but it's not enough to worry about IMO.The shaver socket is inside at the top, and with a pointless, spring-loaded flap over it it's quite difficult to get at. For the price I would have liked two sockets. The mains cable comes out of the top in the middle, and might get in the way of anything above like an extractor fan. The cable is good quality and with well-crimped wires on the end.The door defogger seems functional but takes a good few minutes to warm up enough to do much, after a shower I'm dried and have wandered off before it's fully cleared the door.The hand-operated light switch is really good - waving your hand under the middle of the right-hand mirror toggles the lights, which are neutral white, not warm to any degree, and bright enough to light the room on their own. The door is soft-close - I had trouble with it until I realised you only need to close it half-way or so and it'll slowly close on its own.The unit is pretty heavy and two people would make fitting it a lot easier. It sits on a wide, aluminium bracket at the bottom (hidden behind the bottom of the mirror), and two screws go into left-right slideable brackets at the top (which are hidden behind the top of the mirror). TAKE CARE - it can sit on the lower bracket and feel like it's secure, but make sure that the lip on the bottom of the mirror is sitting in the corresponding slot on the bracket or it'll slip off.All in all a nice cabinet.

What a great cabinet. I’d been looking at cabinets with lights and, most importantly, a shaver socket for toothbrush charging. I had seen some hideous ones for this price, and some better ones but at three times the price.However, after installing this one I’m convinced it’s better than any of the £250-400 ones. Installation was an absolute breeze. The way it hangs on the bottom installation bar makes it so easy to line up with the top anchors. Wiring was a piece of cake, too, as it comes with a reasonable amount of flex and the cable ends are sturdy enough to be bent round to your junction box for connecting to your mains supply. Speaking of which, it runs on a mains ring or lighting ring, though the lighting ring is the preferred option.I can see people’s annoyance with the shelves not actually being able to in all the holes due to the doors, but it’s not a big problem. As you can see in my photos, you can fit electric toothbrushes in there, and the charger, mouthwash, toothpaste, deodorant...I can’t recommend this any more than I have. Probably the easiest thing I’ve ever installed!

It looks great butmy husband, being a joiner, has pointed out that the door is slightly out of line with the rest of the cupboard and because of the type of hinges provided there is no way to adjust this. Also, the door makes a horrible creaky sound when you open it. The light works great though and overall I think it looks good. We’ve not tested the de-misting mirror yet. It’s just a shame because these two little things are going to bug us all the while.

The cabinet looks good, with plenty of storage and nice specs, but I'm more concerned to give a high rating to the seller. The cabinet arrived damaged in transit, but the seller provided a replacement item which arrived very quickly and was happy for me to simply dispose of the damaged cabinet - a big help. Great service from Shalbay 1918, and from Amazon, who facilitated the process promptly and reassuringly. Well done everybody. The replacement is now fitted, and looks and works great.

Our plumber fitted the cabinet in for us and he had no issues with it whatsoever. It's been up 3 months and so far so good. I love the fact that I can pop my toothbrush in the charger straight away. It looks lovely, seems solid, I'm very happy with this cabinet.

No disappointments - looks good and the lights and anti fog work well. Great spec for the price. Storage is compromised by power cable inside the cabinet but the socket means we can charge toothbrushes tidily inside it which I love.

Looks smart like motion sensor on the bottom also good heated mirror so not steam up only down side mirror not line up whit anther mirror don't have adjustment predrilled holes
