doTERRA On Guard Essential Oil Protective Blend Beadlets 125 ct

I love these beadlets! They are my go to when I start to feel under the weather. I believe they have kept me from getting sick for oh so many years now. These and Oscillococcinum are my health savers!

I bought this product for 20 dollars with Prime shipping. I swallow one with water once a week to boost my immune system. I started to catch something, was feeling congested and lethargic. I upped my dosage to once a day and began to feel better 3 days later; I never got a full blown cold or whatever it could have been. People are asking if this product contains carrageenan so I took a picture of the list of ingredients and have included it in my review. Yes there is carrageenan as an ingredient. I did some research and found that some say it’s dangerous to our health and others say it’s safe to consume. I plan to still take these beadlets as needed since it *does* work to keep me from getting sick. Update: I now take one a day. I had my 65 year old father take 4 a day to get rid of bronchitis the doctor couldn’t fix and his cough was gone 2 days later! I learned consumption should not exceed 10 per day, but that’s not a problem because the most it seems is ever needed is 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening if the individual is already sick like in my father’s case. I tell anyone I hear sniffle/cough about these beadlets and offer them 2 to try. It has changed my life! I haven’t gotten sick since I began taking these. Newest Update: my pharmacist warned that taken internally eucalyptus oil can mimic estrogen. There is potentially hormonal side effects if taken for a long time (like a year), and then stopped. The body may have stopped making the hormone estrogen on its own and this can be an issue. So I have decided to only take these when I feel I am getting sick instead of taking them every day. Tl;dr: these things really work! I only take them if I am getting sick instead of every day. I received no incentive for this review; it is my own unbiased opinion. (If it was helpful lmk:)

I really think the beads taste perfectly wonderful. They remind me of the smell of the florist section at Michael's. I think the obsessions about pumpkin lattes might make these more popular because I can see people adding these or the plain oil to make a better tasting pumpkin latte. I was surprised it was such a familiar taste that just reminds you of autumn because with the eucalyptus and cloves in it I thought it would taste like menthol but it really has a dominating cinnamon and orange flavor with the other oils just making it still smell more like an autumn brew of some kind. I was a little worried these would make me be unfocused because my liver is so sensitive due to a candida infection I can't really drink alcohol and occasionally feel woozy from burnt oil or always from dark meat. I did not have any problem feeling woozy at all, and I was really surprised because I literally can get drunk from Rum Raisin ice cream or the wrong kind of vinegar. I also think this product is less toxic than soy sauce because I also can't use soy sauce without feeling tipsy. If I drink a Kambucha I basically also get drunk enough to feel like it was two or three beers for a healthy person. No problems with this though! I am very surprised, and I am going to keep using these. I want to add to the general conversations that I did have my infection through college but actually never caught a cough, cold, or sore throat for the first two years because I always washed my hands or used alcohol-spray hand sanitizer (bought) before touching my face or eating anything and it really was worth going to the trouble of always having the spray in my purse. It is so worth not being sick, especially because I was living in an apartment with three other girls who definitely would have gotten me sick! I also was not a clean freak during that time and really only kept my hands clean even though I constantly was typing in library settings late at night or working in public. Before I started college I caught a cold from getting ready to go and maybe that motivated me to stay healthy, but just that worked. After college I got lazy about cleaning my hands and did catch a nasty cold again which I think motivated me to keep my hands clean and I have not gotten a cold since! I also did not ever get a flu shot which I don't really think work. Nonetheless, I highly recommend these beadles to anyone with chronic problems!

These work wonders to help your immune system fight sicknesses

I have been using oils for years. Never specific brands. But, over the last couple of years I have gotten strep throat over and over again and it has been getting progressively worse. I decided to look for an option that I could ingest that might help boost my immunity until I can figure out the real issue. I have had the beads for a little over 4 days. I’ve taken a few a day since. Flavor - if you swallow these without letting them melt under your tongue you don’t taste them at all. However, if you let them sit under your tongue and slowly melt....let’s just say it’s an immediate lovely cinnamon burn followed by a bitter burn followed by burping up bitter orange the rest of the day. The taste was too much for me. So I will only take them as a pill. I probably don’t get as much benefit out of them this way, but I’d rather use them as not and see what happens. The seller was great. Had them to me within 24 hours and had a follow up email which if I had any major questions about essential oils would be good.
