Does the job
Works as advertised. Stout heavy duty material. Good suction. Protected my truck. Heckuva lot cheaper than a ladder rack. I’ve used it to transport lumber, too. I’ll get lots of use outta this!

Great product
I bought this in order to haul long boards in my short bed Toyota, it works very well!! I wish it was wider in order to accommodate full sheets of plywood but even witg the current length I’ve have no problem. The notches on the top are perfect for holding conduit and pipe. Make sure that the load is strapped down while being hauled. All around great product.

Not universally useful
It's a great idea IF. IF your truck roof does not have a protruding stop light. I bought this with a 2 piece bed extender. This works great if I load, say, a large piece of wood (16' 2x10, for example). The bed extender adjusts to allow the board to be carried at a height that is level with the cab roof. In this case, the suction cups work pretty well and there's little movement if the board is tied down at the front of the bed (and the back, of course). HOWEVER, I attempted to carry a few pieces of 12' 2x8 without the extender -- using only the ProGrip. The protruding brake light on my Tundra cab causes the wood (carried at an angle with the back of the wood resting in the bed against the tailgate) to move around since there is no footing for the ProGrip. To protect the roof brake light, I attempted to put the ProGrip on top of the brake light -- but there's nothing for the suction cups to hold onto. I secured the load so that it would not slip side-to-side but during a 25 mile haul, I had to get out and re-position the ProGrip 3 different times. (I hope I explained this where it can be understood.) All in, though, this is a good idea and works pretty well. It works very well, indeed, when used with a bed extender (connected to the hitch receiver) if the extender is set for a roof-level load.

Idea Worthy, Execution Not Great, Results Terrible
Bought this cab protector for moving 24' extension ladder on my Nissan Frontier. I have tried to use it 4 times. Idea is sound- protect the cab from scratches caused by the touch of a metal ladder by using a thick rubber pad. The pad is supposed to stay in place with the use of the attached suction cups. Unfortunatly, when this pad is placed on the cab, it moves around enabling the ladder to touch the cab. The suction cups don't seem to help the pad to stick (even if they are wet). What I think might work better would be a significantly larger rubber pad that simply sits across the top of the cab and "drapes down over the rear lip of the cab so that even if the ladder shifts a bit, it doesn't mean the the pad moves. This would keep the ladder from scratching the paint. I strapped the ladder down very tightly and the pad still moved out from under the ladder. Could not recommend this item as it simply does not do what it is supposed to do.

Amazing.
I am a Commercial Painter. For many years Imused ladder racks to carry extensions ladders. I have used, his cab pad for almost a year and a half. I don't carry ladders very often, but I occasionally carry a 28ft ladder and rarely a 32 ft. This pad is excellent. I even carried ladders as far as 90 miles non-stop without a problem. I was able to take off my ladder racks and can now park my F-150 in the garage.

This is one of the lower cost roof pads on ...
This is one of the lower cost roof pads on the market and works ok. It must be located at the apex of the roof line so that it can maintain full contact with the roof. If one side is not held down by the ladder it will walk and move. If driving long distance should check it when stopping.

Does the job, but be sure and check that it stays in place.
Well made and works as expected. My truck is small (B3000 Mazda) and where this fits on the cab isn't really flat enough for the little suction feet to do much. So, I just needed to be sure and strap the materials down very tightly that I was transporting. And if you are going very far, be to stop after a while and check that the roof protector is still in place.

This thing really sticks to the cab.
WOW! This thing really stays where you put it. When I purchased it I though the weight of the plank would hold it to the cab. Boy was I wrong. I put it on top of the cab without putting anything on it and it stuck so well I had to pull fairly hard to get it off. Also it will do no damage to the your paint. I highly recommend this product.
