The phone signal is patchy in some areas locally which therefore also affects my mobile hotspot dongle reception. the aerials give me a noticeable improvement in reception.

Waste of money did not improve reception

I bought these for use in conjunction with my Netgear Blackhawk modem. Given hpow compact these are I didn't expert any significant effect, but thought it worth a punt. I tried it in a few locations and then compared it with a Poynting's antenna. The latter definitely boosted the received signal. The former seemed to have no effect whatsoever. A fairly brief test, but I tried with sim cards from two different providers with the same results. So, very cheap and compact and worth a try, but they do not appear to be very effective.

These work to an extent, but the connections are easily damaged. Use great care when connecting.

Nice small antenna's with high gain. I see a gain of +10dbm in comparaison with the internal antenna's of a ZTE 4G stick.

The connection has been improved slightly and I even tested on Speedtest and they were where slightly improvement, slightly different for low price.
