SERIOUS ISSUE WITH CONSISTENCY OF MATERIAL!!! I ordered several of these a few years ago and they were Amazing! Read my original review below for more. I just ordered three more for gifts and I'm so glad I checked them out before sending them out as gifts! The quality of material has gone down so much i hardly believe they are from the same company. The old one is MUCH heavier, the fabric was thick and plush, almost like a fur rug. This new material is more like a thin airplane blanket with a bit of plush. Everything about it feels cheap compared to the old ones. I'm really disappointed. I thought I had found the perfect winter loungewear and gifts for everyone but now I have to start seeking something else. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My house is huge, older, and not very well insulated. In the winter it gets cold enough to freeze a gallon of water in the dog bowl outside all the way through some nights. We like to build fires and mostly hang out in our bedrooms or the living room so it's a terrible waste of energy and money to heat the whole house just for an occasional stroll down the hallway. We often wear slippers and sweaters or robes, but there are also times we just roam around like hobos with quilts or blankets draped around us and that's far from convenient, especially if you are trying to do anything with your hands! Enter this amazing Hoody Blanket from Waitu. OMG is it soft! And PLUSH! It feels like some of my favorite thick and plush furry throw blankets. You know the material that feels like rabbit fur! It's amazing. It's also way thicker than a lot of the nice quality throws. The size is ENORMOUS all the way around. The hood stays in place perfectly but doesn't get in the way. The size is so roomy there is no feeling of being wrapped in a blanket, but it keeps all the heat in-- so much in fact that I had to remove it after a short time, but the temp was not that low so I am really looking forward to trying it out in the coldest winter nights! I can see this getting a LOT of use around the campsite as well as going to see fireworks or outdoor movies and other picnic sort of events that run into the night. It is so comfortable I already ordered 4 more as gifts for my family and best friend because I know mine will be stolen if I don't! I just received it so if anything goes wrong (stitches falling apart or anything I can't tell at first try) I will update this review. For reference I am 5foot 3inches and weigh 235 pounds and this is HUGE on me. It also almost reaches my feet, but the sleeves are not too long. It's fantastic. Update: I have washed this a couple of times and it's just as soft and snuggly as it was out of the package. Great quality. I received the other hooded blankets and one of them had a small issue with the stitching on the pocket. Customer support was extremely responsive and sent me a replacement very quickly. Great communication and an absolutely beautiful product. I'd give it 10 Stars if I could.

I've tried a lot of wearable blankets, and this one is the best by far. It's soft beyond belief and will keep you warm even in a northeastern winter. I initially bought the dark grey, but liked it so much that I purchased three more in different gorgeous colors. It's easy to sit around in, easy to sleep in, and unlike sherpa-lined blankets, there's no fluff to pull off or make you sneeze (it also makes it much easier to wash). There's also lots of room in the sleeves for those, like me, who like to wear long, giant t-shirts for lounging in the house, because those shirts have equally huge sleeves. It comes in a package that's double-layered and vacuum-packed, which brings the size way down and makes it easy to store until you're ready to use it. A run through the washer and dryer (cold and low) before you wear it the first time, it puffs up, and it's ready to go! Ten thumbs up, Waitu!

I absolutely love this wearable blanket! I looked for over a week before I bought this. I searched and compared many other wearable blankets but I just kept coming back to this one so I finally decided to just buy it and try it as I couldn’t find any other that I liked as much as this one, many of them were open in the back and none were as long as this one is some had feet in them but to me that’s not a logical choice as I was looking for something to wear around the house as well as outside and this has worked out perfectly for just this purpose. I’m so glad I did buy this it’s so worth the price. Its really long and Its really soft, the colors are nice, the material is thick and it’s super soft and cozy and it’s well made. It has a large deep hood that can be pulled down to cover your eyes or to keep wind out of your face if you go outside, it has fitted cuffs on the wrists that also keep the wind out. I look at it as more of a robe than a blanket. It’s so warm & soft I wear it all the time and with it being so cold out right now I have thought about just wearing it everywhere because it’s warmer than a sweater, sweatshirt & most jackets and it covers more of you so it keeps you really warm. It’s a bit large but that’s fine as it’s just more to keep me warm. This is perfect as winter wear and for just hanging around the house. My daughter saw this and tried it on she loved it so much that I gave the first one I ordered to her & I ordered another one. I added an extra one because I like them so much I wanted to have another to wear when I needed to wash one. These are amazingly nice I am so glad I found them I have no regrets at all. Everyone should have one of these. Just buy one for yourself. I promise you will love this as much as I do.

I purchased this for my mother because she is often cold when others are not. It fits nicely and is very roomy. It looks comfortable in it and for the price it was a great deal.

These are pretty awesome. I bought two, one for me and one for my husband. Pros: So comfy! So warm! We love wearing these. The material is so soft. Even after several washes. And they are huge! I’m plus size (2x usually) and 5’10 and it still comes almost to my ankles and I can curl up inside when on the couch. Very spacious! Also a very heavy material, doesn’t feel light and cheap like I was kind of expecting. Cons: My biggest complaint is the look of them. I tried to get one in blue and one in pink for a his and hers situation so we could tell them apart. But once I added a second one to my cart I guess it defaulted them both to black. So that’s what we got, two black ones. They honestly look like monk or grim reaper costumes with the hoods up, and we definitely get looks from the neighbors if we wear them out to get the mail or take out the dog. I feel like the colored options would’ve been cute and less menacing. That said, if you’re wearing them strictly inside, or you want a spooky vibe, the black is fine. If you do order more than one and customize the colors, I suggest purchasing them one at a time. My other small complaint is I wish there was a zipper down the front. The neck is a little tight, even for my husband who is not plus size. Also, since I nurse, it would be so much more convenient if I could just unzip the top a bit. Otherwise they are great and definitely serve their purposes of keeping us warm in a cold house during the winter!! So cozy!

it is really warm and furry. i bought an adult size, and i'm tall, but it fits oversized, though it is still comfy. the only thing that i would advise to pay attention to is what color you order. i ordered the dark gray, but my order ended up coming in a dark green color. i checked other reviews who might have gotten dark gray and what their order looked like, but i'm unsure of if anyone else got their color mixed up. anyways, it doesn't bother me much since it's just a color difference. the hoodie blanket material is really thick. i believe this is also machine washable so that's nice. overall, this was a good purchase and i recommend it if you're tired of carrying your blanket around everywhere

Really soft and warm but trying to get off the clothing was quite an effort and neither my wife or daughter liked it. Also leaves your lower legs exposed to the cold. Return to China was also problematic unlike most Amazon services.

I wear it almost everyday and it is the most comfy thing possible.

This looked like a warm and snuggly wearable blanket but looks very disappointing in real life - poor, thin fabric, all the seams on show on the inside (no lining) and looks to be poor quality.

As a ‘taller’ person this is by far the best ‘one-size-fits-all’ blanket sweater. I’m 5’10 and it reaches just below my shins. It’s also super warm and soft my new-born baby nephew falls asleep when I hold him while I wear it... it’s literally perfect! I’ve already washed it after a couple weeks wear (also wore it out at stores, etc.) and I washed it on delicate with Tide Free Gentle, tumblr dry on low and it came out the same. Quality is amazing.

It's big and long and fluffy. Perfect for winter nights!
