Nice jacket.
I measured for the correct size to order, based on their chart, had my wife measure to recheck everything again, and so I ordered the 2xl based on the chart. Got the jacket and swam in it. Huge on me. Sent it back and ordered the XL, the size I normally wear, and the second jacket fits perfectly. Worth the hassle involved with returning and reordering, and man I’m glad I did! Love the jacket. Very well made and looks great. Comfortable and the pads are all aligned perfectly. I say don’t hesitate on this…worth every penny and more.

Impossibly good at the price!
Hard to believe I could get this jacket at this price. I am a 50-ish "old motorcyclist" but had sport bikes in the 90s' My son now rides one and I got this to occassionally go with him in the begin, and to ride a little myself. Excellent fit and finish, decent armor (though not what I was used to back in the day) and nice zipper locations, tightening bands, etc. No flapping or movement at speed. Good ventilation. Feels like it would be great for one get-off if it happened, but at this price I would just replace the jacket. Nice reflectivity also.

One Month usage report
Been using the HWK Jacket for about a month now. Since its summer time I took out the thermal lining which is very simple to remove. The 5 air vents on the jacket help extremely when riding and help keep you very comfortable and cool at speeds of 20+ MPH. You can strap it on the side to fit more snug and strap in your wrist so you don't have air going up your sleeves so overall fit is great depending on how you want it worn.Cons: very warm when not riding don't recommend walking around in a store or anything with it on. little difficult to use zippers when gloves are on so make adjustments before riding and hopefully you don't need anything from your pockets. only CE 1 armorPros: very affordable, high quality zippers, great fitting when you strap in your sides and wrists, stays in place at speeds up to 100MPH (never went past but jacket never was blowing in the wind, well vented when riding, plenty of pockets to hold items and can secure them with zippers, did well in about 40 degrees when I closed air vents and used thermal lining.Overall great jacket for the price seems sturdy enough to help protect at some decent speeds if you were to slide.

Nice jacket for the price.
This is a really nice motorcycle jacket for the price. The fit is true to size. It's got a liner for those cooler mornings but it does take a little work to take the liner in/our of the jacket. The one think that you do notice is the color. In the description it shows the 1st jacket as being silver, but when I took it out of the plastic package the jacket is actually tan/off white in color. It will look good with my black cherry Honda Goldwing. It's kind of a universal color for all different colors of motorcycles.

heavier than specified on Amazon
I asked for this 'Roadster' model, hoping that without the rear pocket (which I find inconvenient) on the other HWK jacket, that it would be a bit lighter in weight; however, my XL was the SAME 4.2 pounds for either jacket - not 3.8 pounds as listed on Amazon. That said, these seem beautifully carefully designed and made - NO complaints, especially for the price. I'm delighted with them ... and `have bought other HWK offerings, as well.

Great value, perfect for PEV use.
I've got a lot of HWK gear. Pants in two colors, Touring Jacket in two colors, this shorter jacket. I find HWK to be incredible value and prefer the comfort of this inexpensive HWK jacket to my far more pricy premium brand one. Wind proof, water proof, very warm with some light layers underneath. Decent big zippers and adjustments. Can't speak to 70mph highway speed (true motorcycle) function against weather or crashes, but at 35-45 mph that I do on PEV's (e-scooter, e-bike, EUC) this gear is ideal. Definitely holds heat and blocks chill winter wind at these speeds, and I'm guessing the built in pads are decent and far better than wearing no protective gear at all. A risk that some riders do take. Would recommend for riders of regular bikes in winter as well. I honestly at first was not expecting much for this price point but have been shocked at the quality you get for the $ and quite happy with HWK gear. I keep going back for more.

Great Riding Jacket
These jackets are very well made and fit wonderfully. Very warm with the liner in, very cool with it out. Easily remove or keep the liner in depending on what time of year you are riding. Excellent material and stitching. Bright reflective color logo and accent stripes. Removable pads in the elbows, shoulders and back that are lightweight, but would give you protection in a slide. The only problem that I had with this jacket was the inside zippered pocket's zipper didn't close and was separated from each other. Rather than return it for such a simple fix, I decided to keep it and fix it myself. Easily done with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Look it up on youtube and you will see how to repair any zipper.Other than the zipper issue, the jacket is perfect in every way and definitely worth the price.

Not at all what I expected
My goal was to stay dry while riding when it pours. I ordered a medium as I always wear medium in jackets. I am 5'7" but this jacket was made for someone well over 6 feet. It feels HUGE and bulky to wear even with the Velcro to tighten around the wrists and arms The fabric seems very stiff/durable and there are pads inside to protect if you happen to lay your bike down to avoid road rash. There is a convenient pocket specifically made for a cell phone in the liner but not in the jacket itself. There is only one inside pocket but the cell phone doesn't fit and the pocket will not close. I should have gotten a small but the description stated that it was "standard" length, (which was inaccurate). I gave 3 stars because this is a decent product but had I tried it on in a store, I would not have purchased it.

Great jacket for a great price
Quality is very good. However, I found that it fits quite snuggly and the neck size is smaller than desired. So I would recommend ordering 1 size larger. I ordered Large, which measurement wise was the correct choice, but had to exchange for XL. The XL fit way better especially in the neck. Happy with the product.

Great option to the expensive Klim jackets in stores
Used for a shortened 5 month riding season, but I used the jacket with the liner zipped in (4-18 deg c) and out (18-30 deg c). Was never really THAT hot until you stop. Obviously. 30 degrees is 30 degrees no matter what kind of jacket you have on. Airflow port functionality are hard for me to tell as my bike has a larger windshield that blocks a fair amount of wind. At the last ride of the season my watch hooked onto the liner as I pulled my arm out and tore the little button that holds the sleeve in...so...that part sucks. Be nice if it was a bit wider so it could be sewn stronger. Overall a great jacket.
