LowTide Surfboard/Kayak/SUP Tie-Down Strap, 1'' X 15' with Cam Buckle

These straps are just OK. I'm only using them to hang my kayaks in my garage. They seem cheaper and thinner than my NRS straps, and the buckles are smaller and cheaper as well. I'm ok with them since I am not using them to secure anything under much stress. I would not recommend them for carrying kayaks, etc. on top of a vehicle. Spend a little more money and get something of higher quality.

These are really good straps, and the 15ft length is perfect to lash down two stacked SUP. The only thing is the black color of the strap comes off on the boards, leaving a stripe where the strap was. I have to use car polish to take the black marks off, probably because I am OCD about that kind of stuff on my surfboards and SUPs.

I disliked this product because the straps are thin. I bought this mainly to tiedown my kayak on the rack. Because of its thinness, it is hard to put on; even if it is not windy, it is difficult to throw the straps across the kayak as it is very light. This may work well in other applications, but it is not effective for the purpose I need it.

This is a cheap piece of junk. I'd be more confident using kite string to tie something down. The straps are thin and the buckle is poorly made. I attempted to use them once.

These straps seemed nice when new and were perfect for what I needed. However after just a few months one strap has already ripped(luckily not on the road). The strap has become so brittle that I can now tear it by hand. If you are planning to use the straps outside in the elements, you should not consider these. They may be ok for indoor use though. Now I need to find another option.

These are the best for whatever they are used for, and I use them for diverse purposes.

I'm using this to go around the middle of a kayak I put on the roof. I had some cheap straps that wouldn't stay tight. This strap stayed tight the one time I used it so far.
