HAWINK Rotary Tattoo Machine with Japanese Coreless Motor and Aircraft Aluminum Alloy Carved Short Pen Style CNC-M-Q5-1

I am not a licensed tattooer but I have been tattooing for almost 20 years. This whole new thing of rotary machines is a game changer. I have not committed to purchasing a super expensive machine yet. With this machine here I don't think I'll have to buy a high end one. In fact I have bough two other machines from this brand. The machine does not make the artist.

For starters my background is I've been tattooing professionally for 10 years down and I'm use a plethora of machines throughout the course of my career and yes quality does matter when you're tattooing but value matters as well and this machine is just one of the best bang for your bucks vs quality machines out there after using the tattoo for about two or three tattoos I must say initial impressions I'm very impressed animes at the Quality you get for this price the quality far exceeds the price point for this machine but anyways back to the review so using this machine and has a nice throw that accepts a wide variety of cartridges an adjustment points are very accurate this machine packs like no tomorrow and that's with minimal effort it easily can push your biggest mags with no problem anybody looking to get this machine whether you're professional or you're just beginning this machine will handle very well in every aspect of tattooing

It works well and does what it's supposed to do and a much lower price than some other machines. That being said, for the money it's great. I would much rather pay for another one if need be over buying a much more expensive machine that does the same thing. I picked it up as a tester and I have used it on every piece I've done since receiving it. What I don't like is that any kitchen wizard out there can buy one, but that's my own issue.

I've purchased many other "cheap" machines and this one feels different. I always keep coming back to it. Especially after I put the 4mm cam on it.It's consistent and smooth. It feels almost like it has mechanical give (I assume it has to do with the motor). But it can sink lines just fine (with the 4mm for sure).I highly recommend this if you do any black and grey. Such a fun and good feeling machine.

This Q5 is built with a Japanese motor that delivers power suitable for color packing, and equally efficient for black and grey work. It's lightweight, and built durably with aluminum alloy. I appreciate how the chamber that holds the needle cartridges is also made from aluminum. Unlike many cartridge grips and other pens on the markets that are made with plastic, it is less susceptible to cracking.I own two other CNC short pens, the Q1 and Q2 and this Q5 is just another wonderful machine to be added to the pack. The construction, performance and aesthetics easily rivals many bigger name brands that would cost you 3x more. Overall, these CNC machines are well crafted and valued. Highly recommended.

I’ve used this machine for quite a few tattoos now since getting it. Its an amazing deal for the price. Very similar to the bishop rotary as far as power and feel. Punches in lines in the most difficult areas. Ive used a 14rl in it with ease. Pushes as big as a 25 mag too.My ONLY complaint about the machine is that my bag gets stuck in between the pieces when i adjust the depth of the needle. Not really the machines fault though.I’ll probably end up buying the more expensive version of this too just to see how it compares but right now this is a great machine and my new go to.

The media could not be loaded. Amazing machine out of the box. I only use Cnc and stigma needles. Flawless every time. It pushes from a single liner to a 21 mag. I’ll post some of my pieces I’ve done with it. I only use Cnc machines after this. I’ve had machines from mickie sharpz to workhorse irons to Cheyenne and this is by far my favorite and best I’ve ever owned. I’ve been in business since 1997 and own my own shop altered addiction tattoos NY for the past 8 years and this was the best investment for a machine.
