I’ve tried them all. Xtreme, Northfin you name it. Xtreme breaks apart and clouds the water. The Northfin jacked up my nitrates and I lost two fish I raised from fry. These pellets slowly sink so every fish gets some. They enhance the color of your fish. They will never cloud the water and my cichlids go crazy for it.

I have several large cichlids, loaches, and cat fish. I was looking for sinking pellets in a larger quantity, without sacrificing poor ingredients. My fish love them. They look healthy and bright. This has lasted me way longer than the sinking pellets I was buying at petsmart. The size is perfect. Not too big for my smaller loaches, and not too small for my larger cichlids and catfish.

My larger kenyi and yellow lab cichlids seem to love this food and never turn down a feeding. They all have bright and vivid coloring to them.There are a lot of babies in the tank that aren't able to eat the large pellets so make sure your fish will be able to comfortably eat them. They arrived sealed, fresh, and on time.

Very happy with purchase, fish love it too. I compared the large sizes of the sinking pellets with the large floating pellets size if anyone was wondering. Packaged very well, exactly as described, will buy again.

that this is cichlid food. We have a small yet very established back yard pond where we've had Goldfish and Koi happily dwelling for years. They do not at all care for the floating Goldfish and Koi food. However...the lot of them have thrived for years on the Omega 'large' sinking pellets. Our scaly babies just love them and give the food a big fins up!!!

I order these every time. Everything you cichlids need. I started feeding this when cichlids were juvenile and now that they are adult (many 6” plus) is still a great size. Excellent value has a great blend of micro and macro nutrients to keep your cichlids vibrant and healthy.
