How well does this work for 4c hair?

Depends on the products you add this powder to. Remember this Chebe powder is only an additive to the products you already use to create a paste. I add a table spoon to my bentonite clay, apple cider vinegar, and some essential oils. Peppermint oil helps mask the smell of the powder and creates a tingling sensation. I recommend the Indian Healing clay by Aztec Secret. This clay is 100% organic and can be used on the face and hair. I do NOT believe the chebe powder was meant for the face however. Use a good detangling method. I have 4 b/c hair and this formula produces excellent results for me. Defines my curls, eliminates frizz and shedding. Hope this helps!

Side note: DO NOT mix bentonite clay in a metal bowl or use metal mixing utensils. Metal has a negative effect on the strength of the clay. Happy Hair Blessings!

Can I put this powder in my smoothies?

NOOOOOOO! It is for external use only. The product (when applied properly), will add moisture to your hair, minimize flakes, and reduce breakage.

How do u use this with oil? Do u boil it in the oil or just let it sit in the oil

Yes, you can use it with oil. I have used it both ways. Just let it sit for about 48 hours if you plan to make a Chebe oil. If you do plan to use this powder with an oil, please strain and separate the oil from the powder before putting on your scalp.

Once the powder is separated from the oil, I put the powder in my leave conditioner and braid my hair down.

I wouldn't recommend using the oil with the actual powder mixed in on the scalp because the powder is known to cause dry and itchy scalp.

I’m in my 3rd month and still have plenty.  I mix mine with a base.  You will have some spillage if you don’t.
