I like that it’s a deeper color red. I bought a different one that was a green but it was more like a pastel and I’m not crazy over pastel colors for wearing. It fits great and looks great. Love the dial... when I feel like it needs to be tighter or looser just a twist One Direction or the other.

A good fit for someone with thick hair or someone who wants to wear a ponytail. It has an adjustable knob on the back (similar to a hard hat) which keeps the helmet snug on my head. It’s lightweight, so not as heavy as the average hard hat. Slightly overpriced but it’s the best helmet I’ve found that actually fits. I’ve tried several and returned them all. I’m keeping this one.

I love this helmet! I adore the deep, rich colors. It is comfortable to wear, although I wish they offered an XL in this style like they do in other models. I have to open the size adjuster all the way up so it comes out of the helmet to fit it on my head. Works fine like that, though, and the manufacturer specifies that it is still just as safe. I also love that this helmet is not as huge as some of the others and looks a lot more reasonable. I tried a Troxel Spirit also and it was enormous and uncomfortable. Came back for a second one of these for my son instead. (at 11 but with a large head, this fits him, even in size Large).

My daughter began horse riding lessons last month and none of the helmets at the stables were big enough to go over her thick curly hair even when it was in a low ponytail. I started my search for one and came across this one. I purchased it and it was PERFECT for her. She wore it for her lesson this morning. It fit and was super comfortable for her. Happy with this purchase!

This help is a beautiful color blue with a matte finish. It has the adjustable width in the back so make everything secure. I would say this helmet fits oval shaped heads rather than round. I have a round head and I can feel pressure on me temples and the sides on my head.

I have never much liked helmets probably because they have been uncomfortable. This helmet is very comfortable and light on my head. I forget that I am even wearing it. I love the way you adjust the size, the dial makes it so easy. 5 stars for this helmet for sure!

We are new to horseback riding. I bought this for my 13 year old daughter. We used the measuring g chart provided on Troxel's website. Measured her head and the fit was perfect. I read the reviews about it being shiny and was a little nervous. The first thing one of her instructors said was "it's so shiny". I said is it bad, she said no I love it. What a beautiful helmet. Her other instructor also commented he loved it. It's a beautiful dark maroon color. Highly recommended

Troxel - great fit, good performance and protection of head in a fall. My favorite helmet at this price point and worth every penny.
