Rechargeable Head Magnifier Glasses with LED Lights-1.5X to 5X Zoom

I've had these YOCTOSUN Rechargeable Magnifying Glasses for more than 5 years, now. They have been wonderful! Although they are heavier than ordinary reading glasses, they're not hard to get used to. The light is bright, and the battery still takes a full charge, so my reading time is never cut short. The lens set also allows me to adjust to days when my eye focus seems to get lazy. NOTICE that YOCTOSUN offers glasses, now, with USB-C connections instead of the micro-USB I bought five years ago.

I like these very much. I'm using them for diamond painting at the moment, but they will be useful for other projects as well. I do a lot of crafts and things these will be very handy to have. They work well and are easy to operate. Relatively comfortable to wear. You will need to experiment with the lenses to find the magnification best for your needs. The 1.5 works best for me at present. I haven't used the light yet, but it is easy to operate and very bright and clear. They seem to be well made, I hope to have them for many years. I recommend these for anyone who needs hands free magnification for any thing. I am very pleased with them.

Bought this to make it easier to see what was going on with the needle and under the foot of the sewing machine. I wear glasses already, and needed something that didn't require my nose to support the headgear. The headgear is very comfortable. It's cushioned and easy to adjust. I could easily forget I was wearing it, but I am also used to wearing scarves and hats on my head regularly. Initially thought I needed a ton of magnification - and when I put in the 3.5 lens, I couldn't get close enough to the machine for it to work. The headgear banged against the machine and I had to hunch over a lot. Was ready to send it back, but thought I'd try other lenses first. Turns out, all I needed was the 1x lens to be comfortable standing while sewing and be able to see better than before. The only thing I don't particularly care for is the light. It isn't really bright enough to illuminate anything that isn't six inches from your face, and the color is that unnatural, obnoxious blue-ish color that kind of hurts my eyes. No matter. I didn't buy it for the light - but those of you that are may want to know.

Magnifiers work very well. Glasses tend to be heavy, which is understandable because of the high magnification lenses. They will not stay on my head and are not usable without the head strap, which was included. I put the head strap on the glasses and they worked fine. After using the glasses only a few times over 1 month, the head strap broke. I gave these only 3 stars because the head strap broke and because of the head strap's poor design.

This is actually my second set, because I lost the first set. The light makes fine detail work easy. The multiple magnifying lenses allow for versatility. They're super comfortable, fit over a regular pair of glasses and are perfect for all my art and project needs.

These are truly remarkable. My mom is legally blind and uses these for knitting and reading prescription bottles and they work very well. They are a bit big, but come with a rubber head strap that hold them in place. They have an led light right above the brow, and it has two power setting and the light shines in the right place. I have three pairs at home after seeing my mom cry because she dropped and broke the one she had. Yes, that's how much she likes and uses them, she cried when they broke. Go ahead, buy two or three and keep one in every room.

I have cataracts in both eyes and can no longer see the eye of a needle to thread it when I sew. This helps a lot. As other reviewers have said it's only good for a very short focal distance - I would say about 4-6 inches from your eyes. That is fine for me as that's about the distance I use to thread a needle. I like the LED light, which has two settings for brightness and is USB rechargeable. I also use this at work to see fine detail in mechanical parts we prototype. Works for me. Great for the price

C'est ma troisième paires que je commande sur 3ans car je les utilise tout les jour dans la mécanique .elles passe dans un casque de soudure . Elles sont trés bien . Les led tien long temps . Charge assée rapide .

My husband has no problems seeing the finer details on the tiny models he makes.
