"Moonwatch Only is certainly one of the best books ever written about a single watch model." - William Massena - Timezone.com "It is an indescribable reference work and a true must-have for every Speedmaster collector." - Forbes "This book sets a new standard. Not only for books on the Omega Speedmaster, but for watch books in general. I've never seen anything like it, and believe me when I tell you that I could fill an impressive sized wall with books on watches. Authors of other books or publishers should take a look at Moonwatch Only as well to see how it should be done." - Robert Jan Broer - FratelloWatches "The OMEGA Speedmaster Professional - the Moonwatch - has done things that no other timepiece has done and it's been worn in places that only a few human beings have been." - Captain Eugene Cernan, 'Last man on the moon' There are very few timepieces in the world that deserve a definitive and comprehensive book such as this one. The OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch is one of them. Initially designed for automobile racing teams and engineers, the Omega Speedmaster embarked on a very different trajectory when NASA chose it to accompany astronauts heading for the Moon in 1965. Its involvement in the space adventure has propelled the Moonwatch to the top of the list of celebrated timepieces. After years of research and observation, the authors present a complete panorama of the Moonwatch in a systematic work that is both technical and attractive, making it the inescapable reference book for this legendary watch. This third edition has been enriched with numerous new features including a 16-page gallery of astronauts and their Speedmaster, QR codes to extend your exploration and a detailed story of a vintage Speedmaster. Review: great book love it - Very informative great wealth of information Review: Amazing reference material for the Speedmaster enthusiast - I personally refer to this book as the "Speedmaster bible" because it is very thorough and informative. The images are fantastic, too. This book should be in every watch collector's library.

Excellent reference book for fans of the moonwatch
Excellent book but I'm confused by another purchasers mention of franken Speedmaster Professionals on the market. Everything I've read and seen seems to indicate that there are no accurate replicas of the standard 42mm Speedmaster Professional. In fact, all of the clones I've seen have inaccurate sub-dial spacing, are quartz or have no Chrono function at all. All are fairly easy to identify. This book makes for a great coffee table book if you're a fan of the speedy! Amazing detail.

Great content but woefully incomplete with a misleading tagline
This is a great reference for learning about historical Omega Speedmaster models, and the third edition is current up until 2019. For more popular references, all of the information in this book can be located through various sites on the Internet. But this book provides a single comprehensive reference that also covers unique and long-forgotten limited edition references that you probably never even knew existed (some of which had production runs of less than 25 units), and about which you will find very little on the Internet. But the book gets three stars because it touts itself on its front cover as the "Ultimate OMEGA Speedmaster Guide," but that tagline is misleading. The book overlooks Omega's entire range of automatic Speedmaster models, including the co-axial 93xx models introduced in 2013 (such as the "Dark Side of the Moon" and variants), and the mid-2000s pre-coaxial automatic models (using the Omega 3313 calibre). The book instead focuses only on models with manually-wound movements (specifically the Omega 321, 861, and 186x calibres), which is only a small portion of the Speedmaster line. If you're buying this book because it's the "Ultimate OMEGA Speedmaster Guide," you'll be disappointed, as it neglects a huge number of Speedmaster references.
