Tyroler Magnetic Window Cleaner for Double Glazing Fit 2-28mm Windows

I bought this item to clean our upstairs windows, its a really good tool! Very happy with it. A bit pricy but will save on window cleaning bills.

This is well made, that’s why I have given it one star, but when it comes to using it words fail me I’m afraid. The principal is ideal but not the practicality. I tried twice to use it and twice it fell off the window. You need to be an arm wrestler to prise the magnets apart. I sent it back the same day. An expensive gadget that doesn’t work in my opinion.

The first wiper I received had some issues with the dials to control the magnetic force. I contacted the seller and was quickly sent a replacement. I've had the chance to do all the windows now and they're lovely and clean. Much better than my previous spiderman method. I've seen people showing the wiper just falling off the window. I think they missed 3 things.1 - make sure you have the right thickness for the magnets. Mines doubled glazed and the D-3 is plenty strong enough.2 - Spray a lot of cleaner on the window. It says it on the instructions and it makes a big difference. The wiper blades are fairly sticky so if you're doing it on a flat window, the magnets are going to have a job dragging the opposing wiper.3 - Do it slowly. As I mentioned previously, the blades are sticky and sometimes you'll getting the cleaner liquid to parts of the window. 2 of mine require dragging the cleaning liquid to areas you just can't get too. if you're slow the opposing one will have a greater chance to catch up.

So i really do like this product, however it's difficult to know how big your double glazing is, it worked for my sister's windows but not mine. It also worked very well for the car.It has adjustable suction which great.£70 seems very steep for me, unless it's the only way that you can clean the outside window or you're cleaning professionalally.It comes with a safety loop for your finger, so you don't have to worry about the outer piece falling on someone's head, it does drop every now and then, but that is fine.It comes with only 1 set of microfiber cloths, ideally you need at least 3 per clean, as they get too dirty, and the other windows won't be cleaned as well.

My windows look worse now than before, it's not easy to use, not enough magnetic force and it falls apart, too much and its really hard to move. Very disappointed after watching all the videos, I've tried, hubby has tried and grown up son as well, leaves lines all over the window and very difficult to manoeuvre unless you have round windows!

It does a reasonable job. You have to do it slowly. You need to be able to put some kind a f cleaning substance on the outside windows which is always easy. The cloth supplied clears smears. It would be good if you had a cloth you could put soapy water on

We have one window that hasn’t been cleaned in 10 years. It can’t be reached from the ground and opens outwards so the outside is literally impossible to clean. I’d reluctantly accepted that it would always be grim until I discovered this tool. I bought the adjustable version and it was the perfect magnetism strength out of the box. It’s quite physical work as the magnets are strong and you need to use plenty of cleaning fluid. By taking it slow and steady I was able to use it with ease.It doesn’t leave a perfect finish and I wouldn’t use it for accessible areas, but it left my window so much cleaner than it was. I highly recommend it for cleaning truly unreachable windows.

Carefully measured my windows which were 27 mm thick. Fitted the D-3 as per instructions - first wipe it fell off!! Magnets were just not powerfull enough. Tried repeatedly to use it but within seconds it dropped off every time.Real dissapontment as I assumed this product was best on the market, especially after paying £68.00 for it.Just not up to the job, so sending it back.

I have glass that is a thin as 4 mm as well as double pane glass. Spend the extra $$ to get the most versatile option they have. I returned the 1st one I got because (until I got their enclosed glass thickness measurer) I didn't realize by balcony glass was only 4 mm. It won't take long for the squeegy corners that will have the cleaning cloth over top of them to cut through the cloth. This is due to the strength of the magnets required to keep the inside and outside pieces stuck to the windows. Once you get the hang of it, you can do a pretty good job of cleaning the glass. I was even able to clean windows that have the small screened window beside it that you can crank the window open only about 6". I just removed the screen which allowed me to clamp both pieces on either side of the glass then clean the window. Took a bit of practice because I had to do it left handed but hey, I'm on the 5th floor and they get cleaned 1-2 times a year by the building management. I now have the option to clean as much as I want. Oh, and as far as water dripping down on anything below, NOT A DROP!! Now 'that' was impressive!

Vraiment très bien à condition de bien évaluer l'épaisseur de son vitrage et d'avoir le modèle adapté mais si c'est le cas c'est top !Auparavant je nettoyais l'extérieur de mes baies vitrées avec une raclette télescopique c'était fastidieux et pas tres efficace.Là je ne force pas c'est pratique et le résultat est bluffant. Il faut cependant prendre le temps de bien humidifier l'intérieur et l'extérieur avec un mélange eau savon dans un pulvérisateur pour que ça glisse bien. Faire des mouvements amples mais pas trop rapide pour éviter les chutes.Je recommande fortement ça facilite la vie j'ai mis 2h pour faire toutes mes baies vitrées sans forcer contre 4h auparavant, gain de temps, d'énergie, bref excellent !Le service client est également disponible et à l'écoute. J'ai eu un souci sur un des aimants cassé et il m'ont changé l'appareil en un temps record. Ils sont très professionnels et efficaces.

...n'arrive pas à s'en servir. Moi non plus. L'idée est pourtant séduisante.

The product came with clear instructions and a very important safety guidelines.For the magnets are very powerful, and one needs extra caution when working with the product.On the good side, the powerful magnets have been proving to perform well also on the thick window which I have at home. However, the product was not helpful in cleaning some of the hard stains, but all in all it did make the cleaning task more time efficient. For this reasons, 5 stars.
