I ordered this light fixture in the 16", 3000k size for our laundry room (roughly 7ftx9ft). This was the perfect light!! I like good lighting in work areas like this, and this light fixture delivers! I didn't get the 4000k because I don't want the bluish-colored cool light...this 3000k is warmer and more pleasing, yet plenty bright! The style is great and it's pretty lightweight...easier for installation! As other reviewers have mentioned, the light cover is plastic, but well done. Once installed ,no one would ever know. Not at all cheap looking...really nice! I don't use a dimmer with it so I can't comment on that, but for an application like mine...I definitely recommend it! I LOVE THIS LIGHT!

A review of the 16in. Lithonia Lithonia Lighting FMSATL 16 20830 BZA M4 Antique Bronze LED Saturn Flushmount . We bought this to replace a hanging 'brass' chandelier candelabra. Our kitchen layout changed and the chandelier was now hanging in the walkway. After one too many bumped heads we knew we wanted a flush lamp up out of the way. This has been great for moving the lamp out of the way. It is bright and lights the eating area of the kitchen fairly well. Although I did purchase the recommended dimmer for it I installed it without it; we have not had an occasion to want the light dimmed and it has been fine as a simple wall switch lamp. I rated four stars because I do have some reservations about it. First, our ceiling was not totally flat so I added closed cell foam doorway insulation around the perimeter to make it sit softly and flush with the ceiling; that worked well. Second, it is a single piece circuit board with the LEDs soldered to it. So far all of them have stayed working. I am worried in the future one will die or worse all will die and then it is an entire new lamp to fix it (where with individual LED bulbs like we had in the chandelier you just replace one bulb). Lastly, the chandelier was full room ambient lighting, the ceiling was lit too. Although this lamp has sides it is more of a down-light than an ambient light fixture. There also seem to be more noticeable shadows if someone steps beside your chair or beside the table. Not deal breakers though and we still love the lamp. It seems trouble free and up out of the way. Plenty bright. Installation was pretty straight forward and easy. The only minor difficult areas were my particular ceiling and not due to the lamp. Took about 45 minutes with basic tools.

Great Light. Easy to install. We put one in a laundry room and it lit up the whole room much better than the 2 48" Bulbed Fluorescent fixture that was there. The LED's give off a nice white light and the fixture is quite attractive. Its large circular design covered the holes that were in the drywall ceiling. Overall we are very pleased with this light. We bought another for our master closet! Hope this info helps. Not a cheap fixture but you do get what you pay for with this one!

Got this fixture a couple months ago. Pleasantly surprised on its quality and amount of light output given its fairly low price. Actual light quality is bright and maybe 6500K. Meaning it is not warm at all. Incandescent (normal) tungsten bulbs of the past were 2700K and considered warm (or yellowish orange.) 5000K is 'Sunlight" from a Norther Exposure. 6500K is bright (some call bluish light.) Good for a work space but harsh for relaxing. This Lithonia fixture is in my kitchen ceiling and is great for adding increased brightness to a poorly lit area. For reference I am 62 y.o. where increased brightness is becoming more important. (Along with increased loudness.)

I bought this for a 10x11 foot laundry room. In a small room like that this light is very bright. I got the 3000K version so we could better see color. It is ideal for this application. We liked it so much I bought three more of the 2400K versions for bedrooms. In a larger room this are no so overwhelmingly bright but this is what you want in a bedroom the warmer 2400K color is better for a bedroom. but I like the whiter 300K light as a work light. Very good quality. One thing: While you will never need to take the white dome off to replace a light bulb (there is no bulb inside, instead about 100 tiny LED chips) you will need to take if off to clean the inside. Spiders can find there way in there as can bits of dust. Taking it down is easy, three thumb screws, no tools needed.

I bought this ceiling light for my master bed room. My old ceiling light used three 60 watt incandescent light bulbs and I needed to replace them frequently due to their short life span. Every time one of them goes out and I didn't like carrying ladder all the way from basement to replace the bulb. I looked for 60 watt equivalent LED candelabra light bulb but it was hard to find them. After all the research, I ended up buying 16 inch Lithonia Saturn Flush Mount. I thought and I still think it's the most economical and convenient solution. Getting a nice looking LED ceiling light for $112.50 is steal and it saves money on your electric bill by using only 26 watts an hour. The installation was relatively easy compared to other brands and I don't need to maintain it for several years to come. After installation, my first impression was that the light was too directional. I realized what it means when other reviewers said this lighting is too bright. The spot directly under the lighting is too bright whereas other areas are not well-lit. But after several hours, I got used to it and it doesn't bother me much as the first time. Actually, I find myself very satisfied whenever I turn it on. If you want to buy this product, you will have to admit that LED is not the same as incandescent light.

I used this light to replace an older 48" fluorescent two lamp fixture. It is bright and looks fine, I will have to replace the existing cable to the electrical box, because it requires 90 degree centigrade wire and my home was wired in 1978 and has 60 degree wire. The light is more pleasing than the old fluorescent fixture was.

It's a nice light. Very bright and a nice even light. To call is dimmable is a bit of a stretch. It does dim but, even with a led compatible dimmer switch, it is very touchy. It flickers on full power on the dimmer and you have to set the low setting just right or it flickers when dim too. Also it doesn't go very dim. Over all is a good light but if you want something that is actually dimmable. ..maybe look at something else.

This item is described as being a square light, although it did have a picture of a circular light. I assumed the description would be correct and ordered it. A circular light showed up and not the square one. They need to fix the description.

Arrived quickly, very bright which I was seeking and will be ordering another one for my office.
