Acrylic Film Slate Directors Clapboard, White Movie Clapper Board

Shipped fast. Good starter clapper! I still haven’t officially used it, and don’t want to dirty it up.

There are clappers out there that built solid and will last for years and for about the same price, but it got the job done so 5 STARS.

I bought this because I think it would be easier to time the clap using a slate than it would be just using your hands. This was inexpensive and it does the job very nicely. I also had some concern about the screws coming loose during normal use, so I put a drop of Locktite 243 on each of the screws. It's rock solid now. I have no complaints.

Make sure that you tighten those nuts and bolts. Aside from that it does it job

great product, easy to use, claps really loudly, I wish it was flat on one side. hard to carry around stacked on my clipboard, but still great for the price and usage. if we are shooting a dark shot, we can backlight it to mark the shot clearly, so we dont have to worry about on set lighting changing.

I wasn't sure what to expect, so I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. It is a solid unit -- especially for $20. We used it on a two-day studio shoot to sync to cameras and log interviewees and other info. Board did its job and proved to be really helpful in the edit. (As these are supposed to be.) No complaints. It is a piece of plexi with a clapper on top. You'll want to make sure the three screws holding it together are tightened. They were loose upon arrival. No big deal. The dry-erase markers & eraser are fine, but you'll probably want to just get a proper Expo and a cloth. The reverse is blank, so if you don't want to mess with the pre-printed labels, that side would let you freeform. Again, for the price, well worth it. I may grab a second one as a spare for whenever this one breaks (likely from me dropping it, right?) Cheers.

I thought this one might be different, but the hardware starts to get loose immediately after a few slate marks...and even started falling off while we were using it the first day of filming. But the board is fine. Just tell your AC or Script Supervisor to tighten the screws after each use.

Great cheap clapper, and it will unscrew if you use it a bit. But you get what you pay for. Thumbs up from me.

Well made, not just for looks, perfect for content creators, all the info you need in one place, makes life much easier when editing.

really nothing wrong with it, but it was missing "scene" and "slate" so i just used a sharpie to mod it.
