What are the earcup pads made of? Is working out with these an option?

I don't know what they're actually made of, but I can tell you they're comfortable and they are slightly "meshy". They are not covered in a pleather type of material - which is what a lot of Sony headphones are covered in. I probably wouldn't do heavy workouts in these, just a bit too bulky in my opinion. But I do go for walks with them on all the time.

Do these fit smaller heads

They have a decent amount of adjustment. I don't think most people would have trouble. I have a skinny head and they fit well.
