ICO Replacement Aluminum Charger Holder for Whipped Cream Dispenser, Silver

This is what should have come with the whipped cream maker I purchased. I looked at a lot of models, but almost none of them featured a metal holder for the CO 2 cartridges. Mine cracked after a year and I couldn't figure out a repair. I despaired, thinking I'd have to re-order the same Whip It, but then I found this device, ordered it, and it's marvelous. Fits exactly, functions perfectly, and is less than $10. I just wish I'd known about this tendency or been given an option with this feature. There is a tiny hole in the flat (closed) end, but I haven't exactly figured out its purpose yet. I suppose it's a safety valve, in case the CO 2 escapes into the area and might lead to rupture of the cylinder. I don't think my plastic one had that, though it was ruined beyond recognition so I can't check. Anyway, this is a very excellent investment.

Pimp your ride..i added grip used for metal bats and glow in dark pin striped ... threads do not slide like plastic which releases charge when you go from plastic thread cap to metal base the threads on plastic get worn in... so once u go metal 2 metal yes 1st couple times you are will experience these thread mismatches if u try to go back to plastic the threads will not match metal to metal especially under pressure.... like a break in period....keep on .... the new metal to metal will mate and operation will smooth out... once u go metal 2 metal threads... plastic to metal etc. ...u will experience same thing... metal 2 metal is tighter thread lock.... plastic will groove and miss thread. . Once u go metal u don't go back... same principal in any situation or application with threads....u want plastic lug nuts on your car.... why ? Exactly how about motorcycle. Boat... your kid s bike.... think about it... Google it.. research there's no comparison ...

Worked as expected.

Bought this for my (not isi) soda siphon after losing the one that came with it. Works perfectly, seems better than the plastic one.

It is much bigger then I anticipated. To big for my needs

Perfect fit and much better the plastic one that came with my whipped cream canister. My cats are much happier with the whipped cream being made once again.

There’s a cap on the top that screws on (it’s not just one solid piece. It arrived unscrewed and the threads were machined wrong so it was impossible to screw it back on. Didn’t even get a chance to put it on the dispenser as it would be unusable. Seems like sketchy or absent quality control.

Extremely durable, works very well as long as you twist the cap smoothly and carefully. I would not recommend this to people who force the charger holders on to the canister as this may damage the canister's receiving threads & may damage the person's knuckles. But if you want heavy duty and have the patience for a little extra care, this charger holder will last a long time.

Good patern part

The original charger holder that cam with my unit was made of plastic. It was misplaced and I have not been able to use the unit since. This holder is made of sturdy aluminium, is better quality than the original, and fits perfectly. Very happy with it.
