How much string comes with it? I want it to be used for necklaces is there enough string

The product comes with twine so I did not measure as I using clear filament for this project. Twine is fine for some uses, but just a bit rustic for this particular usage.

What kind of wood are these hearts made from?

Balsm which is a softer smooth craft wood it’s what all these kind of ornaments are made of

would these work for mosaic?

I don’t know for sure. They may not hold up if you use any liquid

What would be the best way to write on these? I want the guests at a bridal shower to write their name and a date idea on them.

A paint pen would be best , the ornaments are very smooth but a permanent marker can bleed into wood making lettering a little messy. However if you prefer to use a marker you could seal the wood with modpodge or a matte clear coat paint then the marker wouldn’t bleed into the wood just a light coat will do just make sure it says matte Or flat finish on the bottle or spray a glossy finish may cause the marker not to stick. Pretty little hearts

Purchased for ornaments. Nice size. No raw or rough edges. Note- need to be painted or sprayed before writing on them with acrylic markers or sharpies.

These are perfect for using as a gift tag, or for decorating a tree. Makes a perfect memorable 'hug' Can be painted, or use for wood burning, or applying vinyl to. These are not real big, so can't be too wordy on them, which is fine for what I'm using it for.

Best bang for my buck

I am using this for my 100 Days project, #100Daysofhearts where I'm painting one of these a day. I lightly sand and then prime them beforehand. They work perfectly! That said, if you buy these, make sure you buy more than what you need as some of them do have imperfections on them. They are so inexpensive that it should be fine as long as you account for that. :)

Fun art project for kids party

We ordered these for a children's party. We also had markers, crayons, colored pencils, stickers and stamps. The hearts are thin and easy to work with for the children. They make simple but attractive ornaments. We are going to string a bunch together as a garland.
