I absolutely love this and so far it's totally worth the cost.
I had been considering the Dyson air wrap for a good 3 months before finally deciding that it would be my mother's day present. I received it yesterday.First, I got the deluxe edition with all of the attachments. What you are going to get is the primary wand, and attachment for rough drying your hair to get it to a damp status, two flat smoothing brushes, one stronger than the other, a round brush attachment for volume, and the four attachments that create loose natural curls or waves in your hair. Two are smaller, and two of those are larger. They come with directional arrows so that you can select the right attachment depending on if you want to curl your hair back away from your face, or curl it towards your face.I am a longtime user of the Dyson hair dryer, and I've generally been a real fan of it with the caveat that on the hair dryer or on the air wrap, you really need to quickly clean the filter after each use. The air wrap comes with a cleaning tool that helps with that, and even without it, it takes seconds to clean it with a damp cloth and a non-toxic cleaner and then a quick wipe dry. This is something you definitely need to do frequently or else any Dyson device will stop working. It will overheat and just shut itself off. Attending cleaning the filter will make it so you never have to deal with that.I have a lot of hair. It's cut in long layers, but it's still a lot of thick hair so I was concerned how particularly the loose curl wand attachment would work for me. I tried it out this morning and here's what I did. I used the rough dry attachment to quickly get all of my hair to a damp state. I then sectioned my damp hair in a way that I was starting with the sections closer to the bottom of my neck and then working my way up. This winds up being important if you have a lot of hair. Clipping the hair I wasn't working on up and out of the way was absolutely the right thing to do. depending on how thick your hair is, if it's thick like mine, you have to work in really small sections. You hold it so that the last 4 inches of your hair is free, and then you move the wand attachment up to it and it literally curls the hair around that wand and as you move the wand closer to your head it continues to curl that hair closer to your head it took about 1 to 2 seconds per section to get it completely dry with a beautiful curl. I curled from the ends all the way up to my scalp and just continued around until I'd gotten all of my hair the way that I wanted it.I have yet to try the round brush attachment or the straightening attachment, but if the wand attachment is any indication, I am going to love this. it does not take me anymore or less time than using my ceramic round brushes and my Dyson hair dryer, so the investment in time was about the same. For reference, I used the larger of the curling wands and not the smaller one.I've always been a fan of the Dyson products generally, and when I switch to the Dyson hair dryer and a really good ceramic round brush, the condition of my hair went from dry to healthy and gorgeous. I can tell already that the air wrap is going to continue that. It's a way to get the style without the damage.I'll attach a picture of it here, taking about 2 hours after styling. If the style has not held throughout the day, I will update my review with a picture later.

Nice hair blower, some cool tools, chunky and useless box
This is actually a gift from my husband.I have N95, T3, and all sorts of other gear at home. So, here is what you need to know:You will get a chunky heavy box. It is very $$$$$-looking but of no use. So I literally put the box away.I really wish they could just gave me an organizer instead so I do not have to buy one(which I did).1. hair dryer tool-Of course it can not be compared to the Dyson Hair Dryer. But as an accessory, It is also very very powerful. I had tested all my expensive hair dryers. The difference is, this one is about 2 to 3 mins slower than the $399 Dyson Hair dryer. But still a lot faster than Panasonic and T3. Also my hair did not get fuzzy after the use of Dyson ones and Pana ones. (yeah, the other one did pretty bad). The noise is also largely reduced, compared with traditional hair dryers. It feels like I'm using my Dyson vacuums at the lowest speed/power. No hissing.2. hair styling tools: I tried all of them but do believe if you are in a big hurry they won't be of much help. Particularly those curlers. I find the roller volume brush and the smooth brushes are easy to use. I did not see much difference for the volume brush but the smooth brushes did well.OK, the curlers, where do I begin? First, if you have a lot of hair or just right around/above medium hair volume, don't even think about it. It will take forever for you to set your hair with this thing. Second, it will attract hair, yes, but your hair curl won't last for long and you need to do them little by little. So only fore hair is good if you are thinking about doing them in the morning before work. That said, I consider it a very very nice gift from someone else but I will not buy it personally. I use mostly the hair dryer and smooth brush. It does make a difference. But for a complete set worth more than 500 and the high standard Dyson set for its products I would expect more. So do yourself a favor and buy a nice Dyson Hair Dryer but get a styler somewhere else.

Healthy Hair
For background, I have long, medium thick, naturally curly hair and have been married to a blow dryer for years. Admittedly, this was an impulse buy (my friend has one and gave me a “demo” on Zoom, lol) so I of course wanted one, too. The transition from using a blow dryer to the Dyson took some getting used to, and I was initially put off by the tool producing less heat than what I have been accustomed to. After making some minor and easy adjustments to my hair drying routine approach, I have found the Dyson easy to use and much better for my hair health. The fact that I am now using less heat means my hair is not suffering from dry ends and I have healthier, shinier hair all around. No change to anything else re products, etc. This is not an inexpensive product, but I promise you it’s worth every penny.
