KenwoodDRV-A501WDP 3" HD Dashcam with Wi-Fi

This camera looks and feels like its quality built. Had a different brand but it had plastic buttons that were hard to read and see, the touch screen is easy to use and see. The camera starts recording as soon as I start my truck, I haven't wired it up to the fuse box yet. App is fairly easy to use, though the Wi-Fi connection is a little quirky, might just take a little time to figure it out. Downloaded the PC video player and it works, the other brand wouldn't run on my PC.After getting a ticket for "speeding", though I couldn't prove I wasn't, this will give me peace of mind.

It was nice while it lasted. I bought this as a Christmas gift for the fiancee. Now it's just stuck a reboot loop where it attempts to start up. You'll see the logo upon powering up. It'll act like it's going to initialize but then just reboots and the annoying chime plays indefinitely.I can't recommend this device. Another annoying issue is there doesn't appear to be any clear way of obtaining support on the Kenwood site.

Iv had this system mounted on my windshield for less than a year and the screen stopped working. Started flashing crazy patterns.

Dash cam suppose to record automatically but after installing it in my car & paying 240$ additional for installation i have been told by kenwood that this cam do not record continuously and if you set it on loop recording it won’t save those 5 minutes clips till i keep on tapping on the cam certain button!! No one seem to know this feature which is impractical and everyone i speak with is asking me to to refund the camera after getting it installed!!
