The display on our old digital thermometer finally started to fail, so we searched through reviews until we found this thermometer. So far, it's worked very well. We've used it for meats, as well as candy and chocolate. It's easy to use and the read out is a great size, offering quick results. Though we don't have our old thermometer to compare, it appears to provide accurate readings. We have yet to need to recharge its batteries but are glad we'll only have to plug it in for a quick recharge, rather than tracking down those stupid batteries again. Like this thermometer well enough that we'll be getting a couple others to give as stocking stuffers this Christmas.

Small Tool, Big “I Know What I’m Doing” Energy I picked up the KULUNER TP-01 Waterproof Digital Instant Read Meat Thermometer and honestly? This little gadget deserves a round of applause from my kitchen. First off, it’s fast. Like, blink and you’ll miss it fast. Stick it in, boom, temperature. No awkward hovering over the stove wondering if your chicken is closer to “done” or a degree away from “about to ruin your evening.” The folding probe is clutch. It keeps the probe protected, makes storage easy, and gives off very responsible adult vibes. The backlit screen is a lifesaver when you’re grilling at night or cooking in a kitchen that relies heavily on “mood lighting.” It’s also waterproof, which means you can rinse it off without panic, and yes, I tested that confidence immediately. Still works perfectly. Love that for us. Bonus points for the calibration function. This thermometer doesn’t just guess… it commits to accuracy. Whether you’re cooking beef, candy, BBQ, or checking liquid temps, it’s reliable and consistent. Lastly it's magnetic, so when it's not in use I can display it right on the fridge as a reminder to myself and others that I can make responsible adult decisions all by myself, LOL. I needed a new meat thermometer as mine just stopped working. This one came highly recommended so I was eager to try! The temperature appears almost instantly when inserted into the meat. Easy to read, great brightness and super easy to use. I am so glad I got this because it's functions so well! Great value for your money. Highly recommend

This thermometer seems to be good value for the money. I find the temperature to be very accurate. The only downside I have found is that it jumps to around the correct temperature and then makes slower incremental adjustments to get to the actual temperature. I think the thermometer feels like a quality product and I like the magnetic feature for sticking it on my oven.

Easy to use, large display is easy to read. Really like the on-off switch when opening and closing the probe. Larger than I expected and very useful at this size. Well thought out functions and design. Looking forward to using it. Update June 6, 2020: I have been using this thermometer for 20 days and have used it at least 20 times. The only "issue" that I have had is one time I opened it up all the way, straight, and it powered off. I closed it, let it set for a couple minutes and then opened it up again and it worked fine and has ever since. I really like this thermometer! The readout is very easy to see. The light helps durung the "in the oven" readings. Accuracy is great and having the meat temps printed on the body really comes in helpful for me. Update Feb 14, 2021: I wanted to give an update on this thermometer because of bad reviews I saw when I decided to give it a try. This thermometer is stuck to the side of the refridgerator and has been since I purchased it in May of 2020 when I am not using it. The magnet holds great. It is still very consistent with well over 200 uses. I still enjoy the large readout and the optional backlit screen. I don't abuse this piece of equipment because it is electronic and I certainly would not hold it underwater just to see if is truly waterproof. I wouldn't do that to my waterproof Samsung phone. I did drop it in the sink once with the water running and quickly snatched it up and dried it off. It did get wet and it worked great after I dried it off and let it set till the next day when I tried to power it up and it came up fine and is still to this day functioning great. I have also dropped it on the floor and it is still fine. This device has been a Great bargain for me and will probably be for you if you care for it like you would any other electronic device. UPDATE: Nov. 1, 2021 Still working great!!!

This LED thermometer is a significant improvement over my previous LCD model. Early winter nights mean gilling in the dark. So nice to be able to easily and clearly see the temperature.

I was very concerned about delivery as (according to Amazon) it was held-up in customs somewhere and no real sense of how long for. The supplier was confident it would be delivered within stated window, but they often do don't they. This would have been of no use if delivered late. Subsequent tracking detail from the supplier was more positive and albeit a little surprised it did arrive on time. I tested against known accurate sources (not sauces ha.) I found they agreed. Has been used quit a lot now and been a great help on every day cooking not just the important special event I bought it for. As it is accurate, easy to use its good value too.

This thermometer is super easy to use. Really love the large LCD display, the extra battery included, and the magnetic back. I keep it stuck to the side of my fridge where I can always find it exactly when I need it. I've never had strong feelings about a meat thermometer before but I LOVE this one!
