I picked these up to replace the crumbling mess my OEM pad turned into, and they’ve been a great fix. Fit was spot on for my 5 inch, 8 hole, 4 screw random orbit sander. The holes lined up with the dust ports, and the pad sits flat and centered, so it runs smooth without weird vibration. Installation took just a few minutes. I reused my original screws (no hardware included), and everything tightened down cleanly. The hook and loop grip is strong, sanding discs stay put, and swapping grits is quick. Big plus that it comes as a two pack. I’ve already got a spare on the shelf for the next time the original wears out. Solid value and seems tougher than the factory pad.

Needed this when the disc on 5" orbital sander flew off while sanding a part of the 8' workbench out of my garage. Easy replacement (4 Phillips #2 screws). Holds the sanding discs great, from Coarse (80-grit) up to Fine (220-grit). I expect first one to last for years, and then I'll still have the second one. YES, I would buy these again.

I have a skill brand orbital sander. I let some landscape guys borrow it who clearly know nothing about using an orbital sander. They did one job with it and shredded the edges of the pad because they were sanding the work piece with just the edge of the sanding pad instead of holding the sander flat as it was intended to be used. So I bought this for a replacement because I couldn't find the exact skill replacement. This does not fit a skill sander out of the box. However, I drilled out the middle mounting hole to 1-1/4'' with a drill press and that worked perfectly. Took all of 5 seconds with a hole saw with the center drill bit removed. Just fyi for anyone else reading this

This has absolutely no velcro on it at all. At first I thought it was great. I put it on tried it out for a few minutes and it worked. Today after 15min of actually using it I found out how wrong I was because that's as long as it lasted. I am no stranger to sanding and my sanders last forever because I let the sander do the work. I do not push down on them I let them sand. I thought what is going on so I pulled out the second one and compared it to another sander that I've had for years and guess what! The new pad had almost nothing on it. The old one felt so much more material then the brand new one and I even have a pad I bought for my wet sander and it's 10 times longer then this practically smooth junk. I am no novice I have been in the trades for decades and I'm telling you this will not last one day of sanding. I'm pissed because amazon return polices are great but damn near impossible for me because the only ups store is a 2hr round trip which means I basically threw money away which is why I have learned away from Amazon lately. Regardless do not buy this trash. The seller should be ashamed of this scam garbage. Yes I'm angry because now I have to stop and go buy a new sander when I planned to finish this project this weekend. It's not like I have a lot of sanding to do but still. Edit, after I wrote this review I seen where Amazon would send me a return slip for a $1 which I was very pleased with except the slip didn't arrive in time for me to get it returned in time. I actually forgot about it until I received the return slip letter from Amazon which I have no idea why it took so long to arrive. I have noticed lately quite a few of my Amazon packages have been arriving later then the 1 to 2 days they're supposed to. Not all but quite a few. Usually it doesn't upset me but one item did because I paid more for the Amazon one to get it before the weekend and then it took longer then the cheaper one would had arrived but that's another story. I get a lot of Amazon items that go straight to the garbage because of the return issue but I'm going to start making it a piont to make the treacherous trip partly because of the new commercials in my prime lol. With all my gripping I will still use Amazon and I honestly still like them for the most part.

This was a perfect fit for my Metabo random orbital sander. Installation was simple. My only concern has to do with the Velcro layer.... it seems extremely thin and I'm not sure how long it will last.

I purchased this item because my sander pad was too old and started to disintegrate. The new pad worked really well and my sander is as good as new. Just needed a power drill to remove the screws on my sander.

Needed to use washers to add a spacer so it will work with a Skil sander. Seller didn’t list Skil as a unit it will work with.
