Now that the swings are up they work great, and installation wasn't bad at all. As a DIY'er I would have loved rec's on distance between swings and a sticker (like some other anchors offered) but those are peripheral to the fact that they're quiet and glide really nicely.

They are very strong and sturdy even using just the big bolt screws to hold them up & they swing easily. Very pleased using them with my hanging chairs

The clearance was tight on one of the mounting lags and the threaded pivot bolt, preventing a socket from being used, a minor detail that just took a bit more time using an open-end wrench to tighten it. I have only been using them for a few days, so time will tell how long they last and how they handle the elements, but they appear well made. The reason I bought them is that it makes the swing movement very smooth and almost silent, the kids love it.
