Bits and Pieces Motion Sensor Frog Scculpture - Croaking Garden Decor

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely love this frog! It was bigger and better quality than I expected, and the motion sensor works great. The croaking sound and flashing eyes always make people laugh when they walk by. It’s such a fun addition to my porch and garden décor. The details are really well done, and it seems sturdy enough for outdoor weather too. If you want something unique, funny, and eye-catching for your yard, this little frog is definitely worth it!

This friendly little guy has light and sound. We purchased it to deter our cat from going in certain areas of the house. It seems to work pretty well. My only complaint is that it goes off when the light turns on or the light turns off. I would prefer it to be motion sensitive versus light sensitive. I'm not sure if that's possible.

I was so upset when I couldn't repair my old croaking frog and found this one on-line. I hoped he would be as great as the last one I owned, and he surpassed my expectations! Very lifelike, love his eyes and his ribbits!

Was just what I wanted - something loud enough to alert me if my side gate opened but not an 'alarm' so I didn't have to disarm it when I was the one going in and out doing yard work. However, the motion sensor thingy only worked about half the time during the day, and not at all in the semi-dark of the side yard at night. If it's going to just be a cute warty frog statue, it's not worth that price!

I bought this frog motion senser to place in search areas that one of my scent work dog's practices in. This dog needed more exposure to odd noises. The ribbit on this frog is strong and the motion sensor works most of the time. However, sometimes it will ribbit and not stop, when it does this I simply turn the frog off at the switch and turn it back on. I like it because I can move it to different search areas easily and it is very portable. I do not leave this outside in the weather. It is stored inside.

I bought two of these frogs. I returned the first one because the motion sensor would not stop croaking when I turned it on. It lasted two days. I just returned the second unit because the motion sensor stopped working altogether. I bought these to scare off rabbits that have been eating my verbena ground cover. On a positive note, the quality of the ceramic frog was excellent. The paint is done well and the eyes light up yellow when the motion sensor works, which is a nice touch. The frog is hollow and has one design flaw that didn't bother me. The frog is hollow and the electronics and batteries are contained in a small plastic box that is inserted into the bottom of the frog (which also contains the on/off switch.) The frog has an internal ceramic piece that is suppose to support the plastic box. But on both frogs that support broke off inside the unit. I suppose the weight of the broken ceramic pieces sitting on the plastic box caused the box to come off. I removed the broken ceramic pieces and re-glued the box using crazy glue; easy enough but worth mentioning. If you are looking for a cute garden statuary and don't care about the motion sensor, this is still worth the money. But if you are looking for a reliable motion sensor, keep the box you may be returning it.

It croakes three times every time you pass it. My dog is a little bit wary of it, but it’s like an outdoor doorbell.

Beautifully finished, but man this thing is BIG! This is about the size of 6 frogs, but who cares, it works really well. Dont expect the eyes to guide your way in the dark, firstly because it only woks when things are illuminated, and second, the eyes only flash dimly.

It was a very good imitation and worked well until a rat knocked it into our pond waterfall. Unfortunately the water damage ruined the electronics. We had a lot of pleasure from it.
